Today I want to share a little bit about my day yesterday, a day that, although it did not require physical effort, did test me mentally and in terms of my organizational skills.
As usual, my husband and I set out on our journey together. We like to plan every step in advance because we know that time is a valuable resource and that organization is the key to effectively achieving our goals. This shared routine has become a symbol of our teamwork and our confidence that, together, everything is easier to handle.
The weather was radiant. Although it had rained a little in the early morning, the morning was cool, with warm but not suffocating sunshine. Everything sparkled with that special glow that rain leaves behind when it retreats, as if nature had given us the perfect gift to start the day.

Hoy quiero compartirles un poco de lo que fue mi jornada de ayer, un día que, aunque no exigió esfuerzo físico, sí me puso a prueba en lo mental y en la capacidad de organización.
Como es costumbre, mi esposo y yo emprendimos juntos nuestro recorrido. Nos gusta planificar con antelación cada paso, porque sabemos que el tiempo es un recurso valioso y que la organización es la clave para cumplir con nuestros propósitos de manera efectiva. Esa rutina compartida se ha convertido en un símbolo de nuestro trabajo en equipo y de la confianza que tenemos en que, unidos, todo resulta más llevadero.
El clima acompañaba con un aire radiante. Aunque en la madrugada había llovido un poco, la mañana estaba fresca, con un sol cálido pero no sofocante. Todo brillaba con ese resplandor especial que deja la lluvia cuando se retira, como si la naturaleza hubiera dado un regalo perfecto para comenzar el día.
Our first stop was at the Parque Costa Azul Shopping Center, where we had a meeting scheduled at the administration office. I was glad that this was the first task of the day, because meetings tend to be exhausting for me, and I prefer to face them with a fresh and calm mind. Listening, coordinating, and making decisions requires concentration, and although it is not a physical effort, it does demand a great deal of mental energy. When we finished, I felt relief and satisfaction; a goal accomplished always gives you the momentum to continue.
Nuestra primera parada fue en el Centro Comercial Parque Costa Azul, donde teníamos una reunión programada en la oficina de administración. Me alegró que esa fuera la primera tarea del día, porque las reuniones suelen ser agotadoras para mí, y prefiero enfrentarlas con la mente fresca y muy serena. Escuchar, coordinar y tomar decisiones requiere concentración, y aunque no se trata de un esfuerzo físico, sí demanda una gran dosis de energía mental. Al concluir, sentí alivio y satisfacción, una meta cumplida siempre da impulso para continuar.
After walking through the corridors of the shopping center, I headed to the bank with all the updated documentation. This step was essential for the family business to keep its legal records up to date. Although it may seem routine, it is very important to me; each document submitted is another brick in the construction of our project's stability. I like to think that behind every signature and every stamp there is a silent effort that secures the future.
The next task took us to Sunsol Unik, just across the mall. There we had to carry out our routine disinfection and chlorination work. This time it took us longer than usual because we did it after lunchtime and the support staff were busy with other tasks. It wasn't a serious setback, but we know that not every day follows the same rhythm. I learned to wait patiently and accept that flexibility is also part of the job. Luckily for me, being patient is one of my virtues.
Después de atravesar los pasillos del centro comercial, me dirigí al banco con toda la documentación actualizada. Este paso era fundamental para que la compañía familiar mantuviera al día sus registros legales. Aunque pueda parecer rutinario, para mí tiene un gran valor; cada documento entregado es un ladrillo más en la construcción de la estabilidad de nuestro proyecto. Me gusta pensar que detrás de cada firma y cada sello hay un esfuerzo silencioso que asegura el futuro.
La siguiente tarea nos llevó al Sunsol Unik, justo al otro lado del centro comercial. Allí debíamos realizar nuestra rutina de trabajo de desinfección y cloración. Esta vez nos tomó más tiempo de lo habitual, porque lo hicimos pasada la hora del almuerzo y el personal de apoyo estaba ocupado en otras labores. No fue un contratiempo grave, pero ya sabemos que no todos los días siguen el mismo ritmo. Aprendí a esperar con paciencia y a aceptar que la flexibilidad también es parte del trabajo, por suerte para mí ser paciente es una de misbbirtudes.
With three important tasks already completed, we headed to Zoom at Sambil, where my husband had to pick up a package he had been eagerly awaiting for days. It was a spare part for the car he is building, a project that excites him and reflects his dedication and passion for detail. Seeing his joy upon receiving it was contagious; those small personal achievements are also part of the energy that drives us as a family.
Con tres tareas importantes ya cumplidas, nos dirigimos al Zoom del Sambil, donde mi esposo debía retirar una encomienda que llevaba días esperando con ilusión. Se trataba de un repuesto para el carro que está armando, un proyecto que lo entusiasma y que refleja su dedicación y pasión por los detalles. Ver su alegría al recibirlo fue contagioso; esos pequeños logros personales también forman parte de la energía que nos impulsa como familia.
The day, as radiant as the weather, ended with the satisfaction of having accomplished what needed to be done. However, fatigue began to set in. Mental exhaustion is different from physical exhaustion: it is not felt in the muscles, but in the need for silence and rest. That is why we decided to return home, aware that rest is as important as productivity. Only then can we face the tasks that await us in the coming days with enthusiasm, knowing that there will be many and that they will require discipline.
Not every day is extraordinary, but even in routine there is beauty, learning, and well-lived moments.
That's how my day ended, with the certainty that every step we take brings us closer to our goals and new opportunities. I'll see you in another of my posts, where I'll continue to share these fragments of life.

El día, radiante como el clima, terminó con la satisfacción de haber cumplido lo necesario. Sin embargo, el cansancio comenzó a hacerse sentir. El agotamiento mental es distinto al físico: no se nota en los músculos, pero sí en la necesidad de silencio y descanso. Por eso decidimos regresar a casa, conscientes de que el descanso es tan importante como la productividad. Solo así podemos enfrentar con ánimo las tareas que nos esperan en los días siguientes, que ya sabemos serán varias y requieren disciplina.
No siempre los días son extraordinarios, pero incluso en la rutina hay belleza, aprendizaje y motivos bien vividos.
Así concluyó mi día, con la certeza de que cada paso dado nos acerca a nuestras metas y nuevas oportunidades. Los veré en otra de mis publicaciones, donde seguiré compartiendo estos fragmentos de vida.
