[ENG/ESP] An intense day of work with flavor and beautiful landscapes
Greetings, I wish you an excellent day full of good energy.
Mine, on the other hand, has been quite busy, and it looks like the next few days won't give me much of a break either. We have a high-priority job at one of the Sunsol chain hotels, and we need to get it done as soon as possible to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible.
The day started very early. As soon as the sun came up, we were ready to leave home and head to the Ecoland Hotel, where we carried out a detailed assessment of the work to be done. That first stop was essential, as it gave us a clear idea of the requirements and the materials that would be essential to move forward.
After completing the assessment, we set off for the city. The goal was to find the necessary items so we could budget for the materials needed. The weather was on our side from the start; it was beautiful, with clear skies. Due to the urgency of the work, I hadn't had time to stop and take in my surroundings, but during a break, I allowed myself to look at the landscape. Mother Nature, always generous, treated me to a spectacle of colors.

El mío, en cambio, ha sido bastante ocupado y, por lo que parece, los próximos días tampoco me privarán de un poco de descanso. Tenemos un trabajo de gran prioridad en uno de los hoteles de la cadena Sunsol, y debemos resolverlo cuanto antes para garantizar que todo funcione de la mejor manera posible.
La jornada comenzó muy temprano. Apenas salió el sol, ya estábamos listos para salir de casa con rumbo al Hotel Ecoland, donde realizamos una valoración detallada del trabajo que se debe ejecutar. Esa primera parada fue fundamental, pues nos permitió tener una idea clara de las necesidades y de los materiales que serían indispensables para avanzar.
Después de concluir la valoración, emprendimos camino hacia la ciudad. El objetivo era buscar los elementos necesarios para poder presupuestar los materiales que se necesitaban. El clima nos acompañó desde el inicio; estaba hermoso, con un cielo despejado. Por la urgencia del trabajo, no había tenido tiempo de detenerme a contemplar lo que me rodeaba, pero en un momento de pausa me permití mirar los paisajes. La madre naturaleza, siempre generosa, me regaló un espectáculo de colores.
After visiting several places in the city, we finally arrived at “Servi Bomba,” a store located in the Terranova shopping center on Llano Adentro Avenue in Porlamar, Nueva Esparta state, here on our beloved Margarita Island. The service was excellent, and best of all, we got the filters and membranes we needed so badly to improve the water quality at the hotel. That gave us great peace of mind, because those membranes had been difficult to find and are vital to the operation of the desalination plant. Knowing that they were secured was like a weight off our shoulders.
Tras recorrer varios puntos de la ciudad, llegamos finalmente a “Servi Bomba”, un local ubicado en el centro comercial Terranova, en la avenida Llano Adentro de Porlamar, en el estado Nueva Esparta, aquí en nuestra querida Isla Margarita. La atención fue excelente, y lo mejor de todo es que conseguimos los filtros y las membranas que tanto necesitábamos para mejorar la calidad del agua en el hotel. Eso nos dio una gran tranquilidad, porque esas membranas habían sido difíciles de conseguir y son vitales para el funcionamiento de la planta desalinizadora. Saber que hay estaban aseguradas fue como quitarse un peso de encima.
With the materials budgeted, we made several calls to coordinate what would be the next day's work. The hotel is on the opposite end of the island, so it was necessary to organize every detail to avoid setbacks. Between one search and another, the clock ticked quickly and it was time for lunch. We then decided to find a suitable place to have a snack and recharge our batteries.

El hotel está en el extremo opuesto de la isla, por lo que era necesario organizar cada detalle para evitar contratiempos. Entre una búsqueda y otra, el reloj avanzó rápidamente y llegó la hora de almorzar. Decidimos entonces buscar un lugar apropiado para merendar y recuperar energías.
My husband, always attentive to my tastes, knew that I love chicken puff pastry. That's why he took me to the Sigo bakery, located in the Sambil shopping center. On the way there, we continued to enjoy the pleasant weather and the urban landscapes, which, although different from natural ones, have their own charm. When we arrived, we were lucky to find the place not very crowded, which allowed us to be served immediately.
Mi esposo, siempre atento a mis gustos, sabía que me encanta el hojaldre de pollo. Por eso me llevó a la panadería de Sigo, ubicada en el centro comercial Sambil. Durante el trayecto seguimos disfrutando del clima agradable y de los paisajes urbanos que, aunque distintos a los naturales, tienen su propio encanto. Al llegar, tuvimos la suerte de encontrar el lugar poco concurrido, lo que nos permitió ser atendidos de inmediato.
We ordered, of course, the chicken puff pastry and accompanied it with a delicious peach juice. The combination was perfect; a unique, comforting flavor that allowed us to enjoy a moment of calm in the midst of such a hectic day. That snack became a necessary respite before continuing with our responsibilities.
Pedimos, por supuesto, el hojaldre de pollo y lo acompañamos con un delicioso jugo de melocotón. La combinación fue perfecta; un sabor único, reconfortante, que nos permitió disfrutar de un momento de calma en medio de un día tan agitado. Esa merienda se convirtió en un respiro necesario antes de continuar con nuestras responsabilidades.
When we finished, we started our journey home. We were already feeling tired, and we knew that the days ahead would be just as demanding, with a lot of work ahead of us. However, we also had the satisfaction of having made progress on important tasks and of having shared every step of the day together.
Al terminar, emprendimos el regreso a casa. El cansancio ya se hacía sentir, y sabíamos que los días venideros serían igual de exigentes, con mucho trabajo por delante. Sin embargo, también nos quedaba la satisfacción de haber avanzado en tareas importantes y de haber compartido juntos cada paso de la jornada.
