Happy Wednesday, dear friends of this wonderful #wednesdaywalk community. Here I am again, just like every week, joining you with great joy to take part in the wonderful initiative of our dear @tattoodjay, which I enjoy so much and has become a special part of my weekly routine—something I always look forward to. It’s always a pleasure to share with you a little piece of my days, my walks, and those little moments that make life more beautiful.
Today I want to tell you how my day began early this morning. My husband and I woke up intending to carry out our work routine, as we usually do. It was time to chlorinate and disinfect the main tank at the Sunsol Unik Hotel, a task that is now part of our daily routine, but one we always perform with responsibility and dedication.
The weather, as has been the case lately in Margarita, was a bit strange at dawn. At times it looked like it was going to rain; the sky turned gray and then just changed, as if it were in a mood, but in the end what we were left with was intense heat—the kind that envelops and suffocates. That’s how this beautiful island is: capricious, warm, unpredictable, but above all, always very beautiful.

Aquí estoy nuevamente, como cada semana, acompañándolos con mucha alegría para participar en la hermosa iniciativa de nuestro querido @tattoodjay, que tanto disfruto y que se ha convertido en una parte especial de mis rutinas semanales, la cual espero con ansias. Siempre es un gusto compartir con ustedes un pedacito de mis días, mis recorridos y esos pequeños momentos que hacen la vida más bonita.
Hoy quiero contarles cómo comenzó mi recorrido desde temprano en la mañana. Mi esposo y yo nos levantamos con la intención de cumplir con nuestra rutina de trabajo, como solemos hacerlo. Tocaba realizar la cloración y desinfección del tanque principal del Hotel Sunsol Unik, una tarea que ya forma parte de nuestro día a día, pero que siempre hacemos con responsabilidad y dedicación.
El clima, como ha estado ocurriendo últimamente en Margarita, amaneció un poco extraño. De momentos parecía que iba a llover, el cielo se ponía gris y el después solo cambia, como si fuera de humor, pero al final lo que nos quedó fue un calor intenso, de ese que abraza y sofoca. Así es esta hermosa isla, caprichosa, cálida, impredecible, pero siempre sobre todas las cosas muy hermosa.
We arrived at the hotel, our first stop of the day, and got right to work. We carried out the entire process calmly and meticulously, checking each parameter until it was set to the correct values. When we were done, everyone was very pleased with the work, and that satisfaction always motivates us to keep moving forward with a positive attitude.
Llegamos al hotel, nuestra primera parada del día, y nos pusimos manos a la obra. Realizamos todo el proceso con calma y precisión, verificando cada parámetro hasta dejarlo en los valores correctos. Al finalizar, todos quedaron muy complacidos con el trabajo, y esa satisfacción siempre nos impulsa a seguir adelante con buen ánimo.
Then we moved on to the second task of the day: submitting a quote at the Parque Costa Azul Shopping Center. It was a quick, hassle-free process, and since we had a little free time left, we decided to treat ourselves. We bought a delicious ice cream cone at McDonald’s—which, in my opinion, is one of the creamiest and tastiest you can get at this mall. That little treat sweetened our day and gave us a little boost of energy to keep going.
Luego pasamos a la segunda tarea del día: entregar un presupuesto en el Centro Comercial Parque Costa Azul. Fue un trámite rápido, sin complicaciones, y como nos quedó un pequeño instante libre, decidimos darnos un gustico. Nos compramos una deliciosa barquilla de helado en McDonald’s, que para mí son de las más cremosas y ricas que se pueden disfrutar, en este centro comercial. Ese pequeño detalle endulzó nuestro día y nos dio un empujoncito de energía para continuar.
With renewed energy, we set off for the day’s final task, which, though it was the last, was no less important. As we made our way, we took in the scenery the island always has to offer: mountains that look like they’ve been painted, a sky that shifts hues by the minute, and that breeze that sometimes blows in to remind us that we live in paradise.
Con el ánimo renovado, seguimos camino hacia la última tarea del día, que aunque era la última, no por eso menos importante. Mientras avanzábamos, íbamos apreciando los paisajes que la isla siempre tiene para regalarnos; montañas que parecen pintadas, el cielo que cambia de tonos a cada minuto, y esa brisa que a veces se asoma para recordarnos que vivimos en un paraíso.
We arrived at the farm supply store where we bought organic feed for our birds. We always save this task for last because it’s on our way home, so we can make the most of the trip. With the feed in hand and the satisfaction of having completed everything on our to-do list, we set off for home in high spirits.
Llegamos a la agropecuaria donde compramos los alimentos ecológicos para nuestras aves. Siempre dejamos esta tarea para el final porque nos queda de camino a casa, y así aprovechamos el recorrido. Con los alimentos en mano y la tranquilidad de haber cumplido con todo lo planificado, emprendimos el regreso a casa muy contentos.
That’s how our Wednesday went—filled with work, beautiful scenery, little pleasures, and the satisfaction of ending the day with everything in order. I hope you found this post enjoyable too, and that you enjoyed it as much as I did writing it.
