[ENG/ESP] A Wednesday of challenges and decisions.

I will share my commute to work today thanks to the initiative of @tattoodjay, for this space where every Wednesday we share our journey from anywhere on the planet.
This week continues to be quite busy, as has been the norm lately, and today's priority is the Hotel Sunsol Unik. Last night, the quality manager contacted us because we had to show up early to deal with an important situation that required our immediate attention and decision.
Although the weather was somewhat cloudy at dawn, the sun managed to break through the clouds, giving us truly beautiful landscapes. It's funny how, after the rain, everything seems cleaner, brighter, as if nature had taken a bath and was ready to show off. Even with some clouds still present, the sky had a special light that made everything look more alive. When this happens, I never miss the opportunity to immortalize these beautiful moments with my lens.

Compartiré mi camita de hoy hacia el trabajo gracias a la iniciativa de @tattoodjay, por este espacio donde cada miércoles contamos nuestro recorrido desde cualquier punto del planeta.
Esta semana continúa con bastante trabajo, como ha sido la tónica últimamente, y la prioridad en el día de hoy es el Hotel Sunsol Unik. Desde la noche anterior, el gerente de calidad nos contactó porque debíamos presentarnos temprano para atender una situación importante que requería nuestra atención y decisión inmediata.
Aunque el clima estaba algo nublado al amanecer, el sol logró abrirse paso entre las nubes, regalándonos paisajes verdaderamente hermosos. Es curioso cómo, después de las lluvias, todo parece más limpio, más brillante, como si la naturaleza se hubiese dado un baño y estuviera lista para lucirse. Incluso con algunas nubes aún presentes, el cielo tenía una luz especial que hacía que todo se viera más vivo. Cuando esto ocurre no pierdo la oportunidad para inmortalizar estos lindos momentos con mi lente
My husband and I set off for the hotel, convinced that it would be a demanding but productive day. As we approached the hotel, the urban landscape looked great, with blue skies dotted with clouds and beautiful palm trees guiding us to the entrance of our destination. Upon arrival, as always, we were greeted with the hospitality that characterizes the Sunsol Unik team.
Emprendimos nuestro camino hacia el hotel mi esposo y yo, con la convicción de que sería un día exigente, pero también productivo. Cuando estábamos llegando al hotel el panorama urbano se veía genial, el suelo azul con sus nubes y las hermosas palmeras que nos guiaban a la entrada de nuestro destino.Al llegar, como siempre, nos recibieron con la hospitalidad que caracteriza al equipo del Sunsol Unik.
They were already waiting for me at the office, not only for the routine check of the guides, but also to address a technical problem that required an urgent solution: one of the filters in the trench was malfunctioning seriously and a pipe had broken.
The meeting was quite lengthy. We needed to review all possible options, analyze the available data, and make accurate calculations in order to make the right decisions. We went down to the trench, which is a kind of basement where the filters are located. Although its technical name may be different, everyone at the hotel simply calls it “the trench.”
Once there, we observed the affected filter and were able to see the damage caused by the accumulated pressure. After a thorough assessment, we made important decisions on how to proceed. It was necessary to evaluate in detail the condition of the loads, which were also compromised, forcing us to return to the office to refine the strategy and define the action plan to be implemented throughout the week.
Before leaving the hotel, I took my usual measurements. The parameters were giving very accurate results, which is encouraging. However, we know exactly why they are behaving this way and what we need to do to maintain stability and further improve the system.
En la oficina ya me estaban esperando, no solo para el chequeo rutinario de las guías, sino también para abordar un problema técnico que requería una solución urgente: uno de los filtros de la trinchera estaba presentando fallas muy serias y se había partido una tubería.
La reunión fue bastante extensa. Necesitábamos revisar todas las variantes posibles, analizar los datos disponibles y sacar cuentas precisas para tomar decisiones acertadas. Bajamos a la trinchera, que es como una especie de sótano donde están ubicados los filtros. Aunque su nombre técnico podría ser otro, todos en el hotel la llaman simplemente “la trinchera”.
Una vez allí, observamos el filtro afectado y pudimos constatar el daño que había causado la presión acumulada. Después de una exhaustiva valoración, tomamos decisiones importantes sobre cómo proceder. Fue necesario evaluar con detalle el estado de las cargas, que también estaban comprometidas, lo que nos obligó a regresar a la oficina para afinar la estrategia y definir el plan de acción que se implementará a lo largo de la semana.
Antes de retirarme del hotel, realicé mis mediciones habituales. Los parámetros estaban dando resultados muy exactos, lo cual es alentador. Sin embargo, sabemos perfectamente por qué se están comportando así y en qué sentido debemos trabajar para mantener la estabilidad y mejorar aún más el sistema.
Finally, we left with a great sense of satisfaction. The sun, although still battling a few scattered clouds, was shining brightly, illuminating the surroundings and allowing me to enjoy the urban and natural landscape surrounding the hotel. It was a truly beautiful view, the kind that invites you to stop for a moment and take a deep breath.
Finalmente, nos marchamos con una gran sensación de satisfacción. El sol, aunque aún luchaba contra algunas nubes dispersas, se imponía con fuerza, iluminando el entorno y permitiéndome disfrutar del paisaje urbano y natural que rodea el hotel. Era una vista realmente hermosa, de esas que te invitan a detenerte un momento, respirar profundo.
The truth is that today was quite an intense day at the hotel. There was a lot to do, many decisions to make, and quite a bit of technical analysis. But in the end, seeing those serene landscapes full of life helped me relax. It's as if nature knows when we need a break and offers it to us without asking for anything in return.
La verdad es que hoy fue un día bastante intenso en el hotel. Hubo mucho que hacer, muchas decisiones que tomar y bastante análisis técnico. Pero al final, ver esos paisajes tan serenos y llenos de vida me ayudó a relajarme. Es como si la naturaleza supiera cuándo necesitamos un respiro y nos lo ofreciera sin pedir nada a cambio.
