[ENG/ESP] A Thursday where work was dressed in confidence
Hello Dayliblog friends, I hope you are in good spirits this Friday and getting ready for a well-deserved rest. The weekend always brings with it that feeling of relief, of pause, of reward after the work week. However, in my case, I still have one more day to go; I have to work until Saturday, which means my break will be a little shorter. That's why I value every free minute and make the most of it, as if it were a gift I don't want to pass up.
Today I want to share with you how my workday went last Thursday. Although it might seem like a simple day, it was full of little moments that made it special. Sometimes routine is dressed up with surprises and joy.
The day began with beautiful weather, the kind that invites you to contemplate and love nature. The sky was beautiful, the sun was shining brightly but without being uncomfortable, because the breeze was cooler. It was a perfect day to work calmly, without rushing, enjoying the surroundings. I took the opportunity to take some photos of the urban and natural landscape around me, because there are scenes that deserve to be captured and remembered.
Hola amigos de Dayliblog, espero que este viernes esten con buen ánimo y que estén preparándose para un merecido descanso. El fin de semana siempre trae consigo esa sensación de alivio, de pausa, de recompensa después de los días de trabajo. Sin embargo, en mi caso todavía me queda una jornada más; debo trabajar hasta el sábado, lo que significa que mi descanso será un poco más corto. Por eso, cada minuto libre lo valoro y lo aprovecho al máximo, como si fuera un regalo que no quiero dejar pasar.
Hoy quiero compartirles cómo fue mi día de trabajo el pasado jueves. Aunque podría parecer un día simple, estuvo lleno de pequeños momentos que lo convirtieron en especial. A veces la rutina se viste de sorpresas y alegría.
La jornada comenzó con un clima hermoso, de esos que invitan a contemplar y amar la naturaleza. El cielo estaba hermoso, el sol brillaba con fuerza pero sin incomodar, porque la brisa era más fresca. Era un día perfecto para trabajar con calma, sin prisas, disfrutando del entorno. Aproveché para tomar algunas fotos del paisaje urbano y natural que me rodeaba, porque hay escenas que merecen ser capturadas y recordadas.
Amid laughter and conversation, my husband and I arrived at Sunsol Unik to carry out our coloring and disinfection routine. It was the only task scheduled for that day, so we took it easy. However, while we were focused on our work, we received an unexpected call; the manager of Lidotel urgently requested our presence. We finished what we were doing and headed over there.
Entre risas y conversaciones, mi esposo y yo llegamos al Sunsol Unik para realizar nuestra rutina de coloración y desinfección. Era la única tarea programada para ese día, así que nos lo tomamos con tranquilidad. Sin embargo, mientras estábamos concentrados en nuestro trabajo, recibimos una llamada inesperada; el gerente del Lidotel nos solicitaba con urgencia. Terminamos lo que estábamos haciendo y nos dirigimos hacia allá.
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and told that they had heard about our service and given us an excellent reference, so much so that they now wanted and needed our help to get their water in optimal condition. This news made us very happy because, beyond the remuneration, what really fills us with satisfaction is the trust that customers place in us. Knowing that they value our efforts and recognize the quality of what we do is the best reward.
Al llegar, nos recibieron con cordialidad y nos explicaron que le habían comentado de nuestro servicio, dando una excelente referencia, tanto que ahora quieren y necesitaban nuestra ayuda para poner sus aguas en óptimas condiciones. Esa noticia nos alegró profundamente, porque más allá de la remuneración, lo que realmente nos llena de satisfacción es la confianza que los clientes depositan en nosotros. Saber que valoran nuestro esfuerzo y que reconocen la calidad de lo que hacemos es la mejor recompensa.
During the hotel inspection, we realized that there was a lot of work ahead of us. When we entered the laundry room, for example, we noticed that the filters were clogged. It was clear that they needed to change their loads and perform periodic backwashing, because the linens were becoming stained and had to be replaced too often. This problem, although it seems minor, directly affects the hotel's finances and image, so it is urgent to find a solution.
Durante la inspección del hotel nos dimos cuenta de que había mucho trabajo por delante. Al entrar a la lavandería, por ejemplo, notamos que los filtros estaban saturados. Era evidente que necesitaban cambiar sus cargas y realizar retrolavados periódicos, porque la lencería se estaba manchando y tenían que reemplazarla con demasiada frecuencia. Ese problema, aunque parece pequeño, afecta directamente la economía y la imagen del hotel, así que es urgente darle solución.
In general, there were several areas that required attention in order to ensure that the water was in optimal condition and that the entire operation of the hotel improved. The important thing now is to design a good work plan, organize the stages, and implement it with discipline until everything is properly resolved.
En general, había varias áreas que requerían atención para que las aguas quedaran en condiciones óptimas y todo el funcionamiento del hotel mejorara. Lo importante ahora es diseñar un buen plan de trabajo, organizar las etapas y ponerlo en marcha con disciplina hasta que todo quede debidamente resuelto.
We left Lidotel feeling satisfied. Not only because we had gained a new client, but also because we felt that our work was generating trust and bringing about real improvements. That is the real motivation: knowing that what we do has a positive impact.
On the way home, we were happy and our minds were full of plans for future projects. The day, like the weather, was bright and beautiful. Sometimes it doesn't take much to feel fulfilled; all you need is a good atmosphere, the right company, and the certainty that you are moving in the right direction.
Nos retiramos del Lidotel con una sensación de satisfacción. No solo porque habíamos sumado un nuevo cliente, sino porque sentimos que nuestra labor está generando confianza y aportando mejoras reales. Esa es la verdadera motivación; saber que lo que hacemos tiene un impacto positivo.
De regreso a casa, íbamos contentos y con la mente llena de planes para los futuros trabajos. El día, como el clima, estaba radiante y hermoso. A veces no se necesita mucho para sentirse pleno; basta con un buen ambiente, la compañía adecuada y la certeza de que se está avanzando en el camino correcto.
