[ENG/ESP] A Sunday of rest, chores, laughter, and flavors.
I wish you all a productive and wonderful start to the week, filled with positive energy and moments that allow us to move forward toward our goals without losing our calm or joy. Personally, I hope my week goes smoothly, although I know it will be full of responsibilities, especially related to the Sunsol chain, which I will tell you more about over the next few days. For now, I prefer to tell you about my day off at home. My family and I spent a simple day, but one full of those little moments that become beautiful memories.
Early in the morning, my son and husband woke up excitedly. While I was still resting, they decided to surprise me by preparing breakfast. They lovingly placed the tray on the table so that when I woke up, I wouldn't have to worry about anything. That gesture from the two of them filled me with emotion because it reflects the complicity and support we have at home. As soon as the sun began to shine strongly, they organized themselves to clean the patio, which is quite large and requires effort. With tools in hand and high spirits, they set about making it spotless, pulling weeds, sweeping leaves, and tidying every corner.

Yo, en lo personal, espero que mi semana transcurra con serenidad, aunque sé que vendrá cargada de responsabilidades, especialmente relacionadas con la cadena Sunsol, de la cual les hablaré con más detalle en el transcurso de los próximos días. Por ahora prefiero contarles cómo transcurre mi día de descanso en casa, mi familia y yo, pasamos un día sencillo pero lleno de esos pequeños instantes que se convierten en recuerdos hermosos.
Desde temprano, mi hijo y mi esposo se levantaron con entusiasmo. Mientras yo aún descansaba, ellos decidieron sorprenderme preparando el desayuno. Con cariño colocaron la bandeja en la mesita para que, al despertar, no tuviera que preocuparme por nada. Ese gesto, de los dos, me llenó de emoción, porque refleja la complicidad y el apoyo que nos tenemos en casa. Apenas el sol comenzó a calentar con fuerza, se organizaron para limpiar el patio, que es bastante amplio y requiere esfuerzo. Con herramientas en mano y buen ánimo, se dedicaron a dejarlo impecable, arrancando maleza, barriendo hojas y ordenando cada rincón.
When I woke up and saw them working so hard, I felt compelled to do something special for them. So I went to the kitchen and started preparing a lunch that I knew they would love. While they sweated under the sun, I fried some golden tostones and cooked some pork ribs that gave off an irresistible aroma. The smell spread throughout the house, anticipating how tasty the dish would be. And, as expected, as soon as they sat down to eat, they left nothing but bones on their plates. Amid laughter and jokes, we enjoyed that moment together, which turned the chore into a happy memory.
Cuando me levanté y los vi trabajando con tanta dedicación, sentí el impulso de corresponderles con algo especial. Así que me dirigí a la cocina y comencé a preparar un almuerzo que sabía que les encantaría. Mientras ellos sudaban bajo el sol, yo freía unos tostones doraditos y cocinaba unas costillitas de cerdo que desprendían un aroma irresistible. El olor se esparció por toda la casa, anticipando lo sabroso que quedaría el plato. Y, como era de esperarse, apenas se sentaron a comer, no dejaron nada más que los huesitos en el plato. Entre risas y bromas, disfrutamos juntos ese momento que convirtió la faena en un recuerdo alegre.
The afternoon continued with an air of satisfaction. After showering and resting a bit, my husband suggested we go to the bakery at Sambil for a snack. The idea was simple: have something delicious, take a walk, and relax, but without staying out too long, because we wanted to return early and be ready to start the new week with renewed energy. That outing, although brief, was refreshing. It allowed us to disconnect from our household chores and enjoy a leisurely stroll, sharing a juice and chatting without rushing.
La tarde continuó con un aire de satisfacción. Después de bañarnos y descansar un poco, mi esposo me propuso salir a la panadería del Sambil para merendar. La idea era sencilla; tomar algo rico, dar una vuelta y relajarnos, pero sin extendernos demasiado, porque queríamos regresar temprano y estar listos para comenzar la nueva semana con energías renovadas. Esa salida, aunque breve, fue refrescante. Nos permitió desconectarnos de las tareas del hogar y disfrutar de un paseo ligero, compartiendo un jugo y conversando sin prisa.
When we returned home, we felt a sense of fulfillment. The yard looked clean, the kitchen still smelled of food, and we felt satisfied that we had spent our Sunday in a balanced way: work, rest, and togetherness. It's those little details that ultimately make routine feel different. It's not about big trips or extraordinary plans, but about appreciating what we have close to us and enjoying the company of those we love.
That's how our Sunday ended, with the certainty that every day can be special if we live it with joy. Now I'm getting ready to face the challenges of the week, trusting that, even though there are responsibilities and commitments, there will always be room to share, laugh, and rest.

Al regresar a casa, la sensación era de plenitud. El patio lucía limpio, la cocina aún conservaba el aroma de la comida, y nosotros nos sentíamos satisfechos por haber aprovechado el domingo de manera equilibrada; trabajo, descanso y convivencia. Esos pequeños detalles son los que, al final, hacen que la rutina tenga un sabor distinto. No se trata de grandes viajes ni de planes extraordinarios, sino de valorar lo que tenemos cerca y de disfrutar la compañía de quienes amamos.
Así concluyó nuestro domingo, con la certeza de que cada día puede ser especial si lo vivimos con alegría. Ahora me preparo para enfrentar los retos de la semana, confiando en que, aunque haya responsabilidades y compromisos, siempre habrá espacio para compartir, reír y descansar.
