[ENG/ESP] A start to the week filled with tasks and joys to experience.
I hope your week goes smoothly, that each day is productive, fruitful, and full of little joys that add to your well-being. For my part, this week is shaping up to be quite busy. I have to deliver several important estimates, as the season is starting to slow down a bit and that requires us to organize ourselves better, both professionally and personally. It's time to adjust details, review priorities, and make sure everything is in order to tackle upcoming jobs with the necessary efficiency.
I'm also very excited because I'll soon have a very special visitor at home. It's someone we appreciate very much and whose presence will fill us with joy and good times, which I'll tell you about in due course. We want to have everything ready so we can fully enjoy their company, without work getting in the way. So we're making an extra effort to get ahead with tasks and leave time free to spend together.
This Monday started early, as days tend to start when there is a lot to do. I went out to do my usual work routine, this time accompanied by my husband, who decided to come with me to make the day more relaxed and bearable. His company always comforts me, especially when there are tasks that involve moving around to different places. I had to buy some materials for an installation that is scheduled for this week, so his help was more than welcome, as he is quick at selecting materials and knows how to appreciate quality.
The weather was simply perfect. It was one of those days when the beauty of this island is strongly evident, with clear skies and landscapes that look like they were hand-painted by a skilled artist. These are moments that inspire me deeply and that I like to share, because every corner has its own charm and history. I love capturing these moments with photographs and showing them as a way to celebrate the nature that surrounds us.
Espero que su semana fluya de manera excelente, que cada jornada les sea productiva, provechosa y llena de pequeñas alegrías que sumen bienestar. Por mi parte, esta semana se perfila bastante ocupada. Tengo que entregar varios presupuestos importantes, ya que la temporada comienza a bajar un poco y eso exige que nos organicemos mejor, tanto en lo laboral como en lo personal. Es el momento de ajustar detalles, revisar prioridades y asegurarnos de que todo esté en orden para afrontar los trabajos venideros con la debida eficiencia.
Además, estoy muy emocionada porque pronto tendré una visita muy especial en casa. Es alguien que apreciamos mucho y cuya presencia nos llenará de alegría, buenos momentos que en su momento les contaré. Queremos tener todo preparado para poder disfrutar plenamente de su compañía, sin que el trabajo se interponga. Así que estamos haciendo un esfuerzo adicional para adelantar tareas y dejar espacio libre para compartir.
Este lunes comenzó temprano, como suelen empezar los días cuando hay mucho por hacer. Salí a realizar mi recorrido habitual de trabajo, esta vez acompañada por mi esposo, quien decidió venir conmigo para que el día fuera más relajado y llevadero. Su compañía siempre me reconforta, especialmente cuando hay tareas que implican moverse por varios lugares. Tenía que comprar algunos materiales para una instalación que está programada esta semana, así que su ayuda fue más que bienvenida, ya que él seleccionando materiales es rápido y sabe apreciar muy bien la calidad.
El clima estaba sencillamente perfecto. Fue uno de esos días en los que la belleza de esta isla se manifiesta con fuerza, el cielo despejado, y los paisajes que parecen pintados a mano por un buen pintor. Son momentos que me inspiran profundamente y que me gusta compartir, porque cada rincón tiene su propio encanto y historia. Me encanta capturar esos instantes con fotografías y mostrarlos, como una forma de celebrar la naturaleza que nos rodea.
Our first stop was the Unik hotel, where I had to perform a routine check. They are currently undergoing several inspections to achieve a five-star rating, so everything must be impeccable. I focused on checking chlorine levels, filters, and other technical details that are part of maintenance. It is meticulous work, but absolutely necessary to guarantee the quality of service they offer their guests.
Nuestra primera parada fue el hotel Unik, donde tenía que hacer el chequeo de rutina. En estos días están realizando varias inspecciones para lograr la categorización de cinco estrellas, así que todo debe estar impecable. Me enfoqué en revisar los niveles de cloro, los filtros y otros detalles técnicos que forman parte del mantenimiento. Es un trabajo minucioso, pero absolutamente necesario para garantizar la calidad del servicio que ofrecen a sus huéspedes.
Once the checkup was complete, we headed to Catalano Hardware to find the materials we needed to install the new filter in the hotel laundry area. This hardware store is one of my favorites: I always find what I need, the service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. It's a relief to know I can count on them, especially when time is of the essence and there's no room for error or improvisation.
Una vez terminado el chequeo, nos dirigimos a la ferretería Catalano para buscar los materiales que faltaban para la instalación del nuevo filtro en el área de lavandería del hotel. Esta ferretería es una de mis favoritas: siempre encuentro lo que necesito, la atención es excelente y los precios son muy razonables. Es un alivio saber que puedo contar con ellos, especialmente cuando el tiempo apremia y no hay margen para errores ni improvisaciones.
With everything we needed in hand, we returned to the hotel to drop off the materials. The installation would take place during the week, so it was important to have everything ready so as not to waste time or delay the schedule.
Con todo lo necesario en mano, regresamos al hotel para dejar los materiales. La instalación se realizará durante la semana, así que era importante tener todo listo para no perder tiempo ni retrasar el cronograma.
With the day's tasks completed, we returned home, enjoying the urban landscape that accompanied us along the way. At home, we set about organizing the next day's work, which will be at Ecoland, another place that requires special attention and where there are also pending tasks that we must tackle with care.
The week will be full of commitments, but it is comforting to feel that everything is organized and that each day has a clear purpose. I will keep you updated on how everything is going, because sharing this journey also motivates me.

Ya con las tareas del día cumplidas, volvimos a casa, disfrutando del paisaje urbano que nos acompaña en el trayecto. En casa nos dedicamos a organizar el trabajo del día siguiente, que será en Ecoland, otro lugar que requiere atención especial y donde también hay tareas pendientes que debemos abordar con cuidado.
La semana estará llena de compromisos, pero es reconfortante sentir que todo está organizado y que cada día tiene bien marcado su propósito. Les iré contando cómo va transcurriendo todo, porque compartir este recorrido también me motiva.
