The work continues, and with it comes that wonderful atmosphere that inspires us so much and the great satisfaction of our achievements. There is always hope that each day will be good and productive enough, because in the end, what we seek is for our hours to be filled with meaning and for the effort invested to translate into results that make us feel proud. That's why every morning I wake up with the hope that the day will be great and, above all, productive, because nothing compares to the peace of mind that comes from knowing that you are making progress toward your goals.
These days, the weather here in Margarita has been a bit unpredictable, suddenly changing between cool breezes and bright sunshine, but always with that incredibly beautiful touch that characterizes this island. It's as if nature wants to remind us that, although not everything can be controlled, there are always reasons to admire our surroundings. Before getting to work, I like to take my time walking to work, appreciating the landscapes that nature gives us. My husband often says that I enjoy my walks like no one else, and he's right; I firmly believe that anything that brings joy to life and the soul deserves its place and value. It's not just about getting to your destination, but about enjoying the journey.

El trabajo continúa, y con él se mantiene ese hermoso clima que tanto inspira y la gran satisfacción de los logros alcanzados. Siempre existe la esperanza de que cada día sea lo suficientemente bueno y productivo, porque al final lo que buscamos es que nuestras horas se llenen de sentido y que el esfuerzo invertido se traduzca en resultados que nos hagan sentir orgullosos. Por eso, cada mañana me levanto con la ilusión de que el día será genial y, sobre todo, productivo, porque nada se compara con la tranquilidad que da saber que se avanza en lo que uno se propone.
En estos días, el clima aquí en Margarita ha estado un poco caprichoso, cambiando de repente entre brisas frescas y un sol radiante, pero siempre con ese toque increíblemente hermoso que caracteriza a esta isla. Es como si la naturaleza quisiera recordarnos que, aunque no todo se puede controlar, siempre hay motivos para admirar lo que nos rodea. Antes de llegar a cumplir con mi rutina laboral, me gusta recorrer el camino con calma, apreciando los paisajes que la naturaleza nos regala. Mi esposo suele decir que disfruto mis recorridos como nadie, y tiene razón; creo firmemente que aquello que alegra la vida y el alma merece su lugar y su valor. No se trata solo de llegar a destino, sino de disfrutar el trayecto.

Amidst landscapes and conversations, I arrived at the hotel, where an important meeting awaited me to determine the services and their regularity in this new year that is just beginning. In reality, it was a renegotiation of the annual agreements, a process that always requires patience and attention to detail. I can tell you that the meeting was excellent, a little long, yes, but with great achievements that filled us with satisfaction. At the end, we carried out the routine measurement and disinfection, necessary steps to ensure that everything remains in order and under the standards we have set for ourselves. When we finished, we left with the feeling of having accomplished our goal and with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the annual contract is secured, giving us stability and confidence to move forward.

Entre paisajes y conversaciones llegué al hotel, donde me esperaba una reunión importante para determinar los servicios y la regularidad de los mismos en este nuevo año que apenas comienza. En realidad, era una renegociación de los acuerdos anuales, un proceso que siempre requiere paciencia y atención a los detalles. Les cuento que la reunión fue excelente, un poco extensa, sí, pero con grandes logros que nos llenaron de satisfacción. Al concluir, realizamos la rutina de medición y desinfección, pasos necesarios para garantizar que todo se mantenga en orden y bajo los estándares que nos hemos propuesto. Al terminar, nos retiramos con la sensación de haber cumplido y con la tranquilidad que da saber que el contrato anual está asegurado, brindándonos estabilidad y confianza para seguir adelante.

Back home, we had been craving fresh fish for several days. Taking advantage of the fact that we were close to the city, we decided to stop by the town of Mariño, specifically the Los Cocos fish market. Although it is still undergoing repairs, they have set up some outdoor stalls to serve customers. However, when we arrived, we found that many of the fish tanks were empty, waiting for the boats to come in with the catch of the day. Our hopes of bringing home fresh fish faded a little, but we were so tired that we decided to leave and come back another time. Sometimes, life reminds us that not everything can be planned and that we also have to learn to let go.

Ya en casa, llevábamos varios días con antojo de comer pescado fresco. Aprovechando que estábamos cerca de la ciudad, decidimos pasar por el municipio Mariño, específicamente por la pescadería de Los Cocos. Aunque aún está en reparación, tienen habilitados unos locales afuera para atender a los clientes. Sin embargo, al llegar nos encontramos con que muchas de las cavas estaban vacías, esperando que entraran los botes con la pesca del día. La ilusión de llevar pescado fresco se desvaneció un poco, pero el cansancio era tan grande que preferimos marcharnos y dejarlo para otro momento. A veces, la vida nos recuerda que no todo se puede planificar y que también hay que aprender a soltar.

The truth is that we were really exhausted. I don't know why meetings tend to wear us out more than other tasks, but the fact is that it had been a very long day and we needed to rest. So we headed back home, once again enjoying the scenery around us. It's funny how, even in the midst of exhaustion, the beauty of the surroundings manages to comfort us and give our spirits a break.

Lo cierto es que estábamos realmente agotados. No sé por qué las reuniones suelen desgastarnos más que otras labores, pero lo cierto es que el día había sido muy extenso y necesitábamos descansar. Así que tomamos el camino de regreso a casa, una vez más disfrutando de los paisajes que nos acompañaban. Es curioso cómo, incluso en medio del cansancio, la belleza del entorno logra reconfortar y dar un respiro al espíritu.
