Happy start to the week, I hope it is wonderful and productive for all of you. I always think that starting the week with positive energy and good wishes is like opening a window to let new opportunities in. I am 100% sure that mine will be quite productive, as I have several tasks to complete, which we have already calmly planned so that we can organize ourselves and get them done throughout the week. There's nothing better than having a clear plan and feeling that each day brings us a little closer to our goals.
This past Sunday was a special day because we took advantage of it to stay home, organize some pending tasks, and also rest. Sometimes Sundays become that perfect space to recharge our batteries, think a little about what we experienced the previous week, and prepare our hearts and minds for what's to come. In the morning, we took it easy, enjoying the calm of home, and in the afternoon, we decided to go to the Sambil shopping center to buy some things we needed for the week at the market.
When we left the house, we noticed that the weather was still excellent. I really like sunny days, when the sky seems to highlight the urban and natural landscapes. Those moments fill me with joy, because I feel that nature gives us unique moments that are well worth it. And since I love to share what I see and feel, I always want to show you those details that make each day special.

Siempre pienso que comenzar la semana con energía positiva y con buenos deseos es como abrir una ventana para que entren nuevas oportunidades. Estoy segura al ciento por ciento de que la mía será bastante productiva, puesto que tengo varias tareas que cumplir, las cuales ya fuimos planificando con calma para poder organizarnos y cumplir con ellas en el transcurso de toda la semana. Nada mejor que tener un plan claro y sentir que cada día nos acerca un poco más a nuestras metas.
Este domingo que recién culminó fue un día especial porque lo aprovechamos para estar en casa, organizar algunas cosas pendientes y también descansar. A veces los domingos se convierten en ese espacio perfecto para recargar energías, pensar un poco sobre lo vivido en la semana anterior y preparar el corazón y la mente para lo que viene. En la mañana estuvimos tranquilos, disfrutando de la calma del hogar, y en la tarde decidimos salir al centro comercial Sambil con la idea de comprar algunas cosas necesarias para la semana en el mercado.
Al salir de casa notamos que el clima continuaba excelente. Me gustan mucho los días soleados, esos en los que el cielo parece resaltar los paisajes urbanos y naturales. Esos momentos me llenan de alegría, porque siento que la naturaleza nos regala instantes únicos que bien vale la pena. Y como me encanta compartir lo que veo y lo que siento, siempre quiero mostrarles esos detalles que hacen que cada día tenga su propio encanto.
When we arrived at our destination, after buying some supplies, we decided to walk around the mall a little longer. I knew we wouldn't leave without trying a McDonald's ice cream cone, because my husband had planned our route to take us right there. He loves ice cream and sweets, and the truth is, he can't resist a good ice cream cone. That little habit has become part of our outings, and it always makes me smile to see him so excited about something so simple.
Al llegar a nuestro destino, después de comprar algunas provisiones, decidimos caminar un poco más por el centro comercial. Yo sabía que no nos iríamos de allí sin probar una barquilla de McDonald’s, porque mi esposo llevaba el recorrido justo hacia ese lugar. Él es un amante de los helados y de los dulces, y la verdad es que no puede resistirse a una buena barquilla. Esa pequeña costumbre se ha convertido en parte de nuestras salidas, y siempre me causa gracia verlo tan emocionado por algo tan sencillo.
While he went straight to get the baskets, I waited, and at that moment, a whole family dressed up as if it were carnival passed by me. I was very surprised because it had been several days since the date had passed, but they happily explained to me that they were celebrating their little girl's birthday and that she had asked for everyone to dress up as a gift so they could share it together. I thought it was a beautiful gesture because it shows how a family can come together to make their little ones' dreams come true. It was a very nice experience and it made me think about how valuable it is to keep the excitement alive at every stage of life.
Mientras él iba directo a buscar las barquillas, yo me quedé esperando y en ese momento pasó por mi lado una familia completa disfrazada como si fuera carnaval. Me sorprendí mucho porque ya hacía varios días que había pasado la fecha, pero ellos me explicaron con alegría que estaban celebrando el cumpleaños de su pequeña y que ella había pedido como regalo que todos se disfrazaran para compartir juntos. Me pareció un gesto hermoso, porque demuestra cómo la familia puede unirse para cumplir los sueños de los más pequeños. Fue una experiencia muy bonita y me dejó pensando en lo valioso que es mantener viva la ilusión en cada etapa de la vida.
With our ice cream cone in hand, we walked a little further, enjoying the atmosphere and watching the people who were also strolling leisurely. Then we decided to return home without rushing, with the intention of preparing ourselves for this new week that is beginning and that we know will be full of challenges and learning experiences.
Con nuestra barquilla de helados en mano, caminamos otro poco más, disfrutando del ambiente y observando a las personas que también paseaban tranquilamente. Después decidimos regresar a casa sin apuros, con la intención de prepararnos para esta nueva semana que comienza y que sabemos estará llena de retos y aprendizajes.
Dear friends, today was more restful and relaxed than the others, and honestly, we needed it. Sometimes the body and soul need a break, and when we give them one, everything flows better.
