Hello dear friends, today I want to share with you a very special experience I had this morning with my family. We left for the Sunsol Isla Caribe hotel to deliver some important documents, and since we knew it would be a quick errand, we decided to take advantage of the opportunity to do something different. My husband and I thought it would be nice to take my mother and our son with us, with the idea that, after fulfilling our commitment, we could enjoy some quality time at El Tirano Beach. We wanted my mom to see this beautiful corner of the island, since she had never had the opportunity to visit it before.
From the moment we left home, the weather treated us to a splendid morning. The sky was clear, the sun was shining brightly but not overwhelmingly, and the breeze was refreshing. All of this allowed me to take some beautiful photos of the surroundings, which, as always, offered us their best landscapes. Every corner seemed to be painted with the colors of the sky, the green of the palm trees, and the intense blue of the sea, creating a scene worth keeping in our memories.
When we arrived at El Tirano Beach, we passed through an area where fishermen's boats are moored. My mom was amazed. She had never been so close to these boats before. She loved observing the details of the nets, the oars, and the weather-beaten faces of the men who work at sea, which was rough, with waves that never stopped, adding a special touch to the landscape.
Once we arrived at the hotel, we handed in our documents as planned, and then headed to the beach to see if we could go for a swim.
However, the waves were quite strong. We were told that there was a cyclone moving through nearby areas, which explained the sea conditions. My mother, like me, does not enjoy strong winds or rough seas very much, so we decided to stay on the shore, enjoying the view and the sound of the waves.
Fortunately, we found a charming place to eat nearby. It was a small restaurant right by the sea, with outdoor tables and a spectacular view. While my husband and son went for a swim, I ordered our food. We ordered fish empanadas for everyone, and for my mom, a fried Catalan dish that looked delicious. And what can I say... my mother enjoyed that fish like I've rarely seen her enjoy a meal. While we drank soft drinks, she ordered a cold beer to accompany her dish, and she didn't leave a crumb.
When we finished, she only had room for a little coffee, as she says, to end the day on a high note. With our stomachs full and our hearts happy, we set off on our way home, enjoying the scenery along the way. It was a simple day, but full of beautiful moments that will remain in our memories.

Hola queridos amigos, hoy quiero compartirles una experiencia muy especial que viví esta mañana junto a mi familia. Salimos rumbo al hotel Sunsol Isla Caribe para entregar una documentación importante, y como sabíamos que sería un trámite rápido, decidimos aprovechar la ocasión para hacer algo diferente. Mi esposo y yo pensamos que sería lindo llevar a mi madre y a nuestro hijo con nosotros, con la idea de que, después de cumplir con el compromiso, pudiéramos disfrutar de un rato agradable en Playa El Tirano. Queríamos que mi mamá conociera ese rincón tan bonito de esta bella Isla, ya que nunca había tenido la oportunidad de visitarlo.
Desde que salimos de casa, el clima nos regaló una mañana espléndida. El cielo estaba despejado, el sol brillaba con fuerza pero sin agobiar, y la brisa era algo refrescante. Todo eso me permitió tomar unas fotos preciosas del entorno, que como siempre, nos ofrece sus mejores paisajes. Cada rincón parecía pintado los colores del cielo, el verde de las palmeras, y el azul intenso del mar componían una escena digna de guardar en la memoria.
Al llegar a Playa El Tirano, pasamos por una zona donde se estacionan los barcos de los pescadores. Mi mamá se quedó maravillada. Nunca había estado tan cerca de esas embarcaciones. Le encantó observar los detalles de las redes, los remos, y los rostros curtidos de los hombres que trabajan en el mar, el cual estaba inquieto, con olas que no cesaban, y eso le dio un toque especial al paisaje.
Una vez que llegamos al hotel, entregamos la documentación como estaba previsto, y luego nos dirigimos a la playa para ver si podíamos darnos un baño.
Sin embargo, el oleaje estaba bastante fuerte. Nos comentaron que había un ciclón en movimiento en zonas cercanas, y eso explicaba el comportamiento del mar. Mi madre, al igual que yo, no disfruta mucho del aire fuerte ni del mar agitado, así que decidimos quedarnos en la orilla, disfrutando de la vista y del sonido de las olas.
Afortunadamente, muy cerca encontramos un lugar encantador donde comer. Era un pequeño restaurante pegadito al mar, con mesas al aire libre y una vista espectacular. Mientras mi esposo y mi hijo se daban un chapuzón, yo hice el pedido de comida. Pedimos empanadas de pescado para todos, y para mi mamá, una catalana frita que se veía deliciosa. Y qué les puedo decir… mi madre disfrutó ese pescado como pocas veces la he visto disfrutar una comida. Mientras nosotros tomábamos refrescos, ella pidió una cervecita bien fría para acompañar su plato, y no dejó ni una migaja.
Al terminar, solo le cupo un pelin de café, como ella dice, para cerrar con broche de oro. Con el estómago lleno y el corazón contento, emprendimos el regreso a casa, apreciando el paisaje que nos acompañaba en el camino. Fue un día sencillo, pero lleno de momentos hermosos que quedarán en nuestra memoria.
