Greetings, I wish you a great, productive week full of inspiring moments. Today I want to start this new week with renewed energy, a clear mind, and a grateful heart. After a few days of rest, spending time with my family, and dedicating time to small tasks at home that fill me with joy, I feel ready to face what lies ahead with enthusiasm and optimism.
This Sunday was particularly special. I woke up early, with that feeling of wanting to make the most of every moment of the day, and decided to tend to my little garden. The bell pepper plants were laden with fruit, so much so that some were bending under the weight. Seeing them like that filled me with satisfaction, because each fruit is the result of care and patience. I lovingly harvested several peppers, and then I tied and supported the branches so they wouldn't be damaged. It was a simple job, but I did it with pleasure and with a lot of love, because caring for nature and seeing how it responds with generosity is an experience that always encourages me.

Saludos, les deseo una semana genial, productiva y llena de momentos que nos inspiren. Hoy quiero comenzar esta nueva semana con energías renovadas, con la mente despejada y el corazón agradecido. Después de unos días de descanso, de compartir con mi familia y de dedicar tiempo a pequeñas tareas en casa que me llenan de alegría, siento que estoy listo para enfrentar lo que viene con entusiasmo y optimismo.
Este domingo fue particularmente especial. Me levanté temprano, con esa sensación de querer aprovechar cada instante del día, y decidí atender mi pequeño huerto. Las plantas de pimentón estaban cargadas de frutos, tanto que algunas se inclinaban por el peso. Verlas así me llenó de satisfacción, porque cada fruto es el resultado del cuidado y la paciencia. Con cariño coseché varios pimentones, y luego me dediqué a amarrar y sostener las ramas para que no se dañaran. Fue un trabajo sencillo, pero lo hice con gusto y con mucho amor, porque cuidar la naturaleza y ver cómo responde con generosidad es una experiencia que siempre me anima.

After finishing those chores at home, we decided to make the most of the last day of the weekend with a special outing. We headed to the Parque Costa Azul shopping center to visit a new painting exhibition. The central theme was Holy Week, which is approaching.
From the outset, I was struck by the diversity of the participating artists. The most impressive thing was seeing works created by both very young children, barely seven or eight years old, and established painters. This mix of generations gave the exhibition a fresh and hopeful feel, because it showed that art continues to grow and renew itself at every stage of life.

Después de terminar esas labores en casa, decidimos aprovechar el último día del fin de semana con una salida especial. Nos dirigimos al centro comercial Parque Costa Azul para visitar una nueva exposición de pintura. El tema central era la Semana Santa, que se aproxima.
Desde el inicio me sorprendió la diversidad de artistas que participaban. Lo más impresionante fue ver que había obras realizadas tanto por niños muy pequeños, de apenas siete u ocho años, como por pintores ya reconocidos. Esa mezcla de generaciones le daba a la exposición un aire fresco y esperanzador, porque mostraba que el arte sigue creciendo y renovándose en cada etapa de la vida.

I was very excited to discover the talent of these young artists. You can see in their strokes, in the way they interpret the themes, that they have a special sensitivity and creativity that promises great things in the future. Among the works that caught my attention the most was that of Donatella Ecarri Nessi, only eight years old, who titled her painting “Saint Joseph and Mary on their way to Bethlehem.”

Me emocionó mucho descubrir el talento de los jóvenes artistas. Se nota en sus trazos, en la manera en que interpretan los temas, que llevan dentro una sensibilidad especial y una creatividad que promete grandes cosas en el futuro. Entre las obras que más me llamaron la atención estuvo la de Donatella Ecarri Nessi, de tan solo ocho años, quien tituló su cuadro “San José y María van camino a Belén”.

Also that of seven-year-old Alejandra Echarri Mendoza, with her work “A Birth of Peace,” which conveyed tenderness and hope.

Another outstanding piece was by Annelis Aurora Rodríguez Salazar, also eight years old, called “Under the Golden Star,” full of light and symbolism.

And I cannot fail to mention Alejandro Jiménez, aged eleven, with his work “Night of the Birth of the Baby Jesus,” which showed surprising maturity for his age.
These young artists demonstrated that art has no age limits, and that when cultivated with passion, it can flourish from a very early age. Seeing them participate in an exhibition alongside experienced painters speaks volumes about their dedication and the support they receive to continue growing.

Y no puedo dejar de mencionar a Alejandro Jiménez, de once años, con su obra “Noche del nacimiento del niño Jesús”, que reflejaba una madurez sorprendente para su edad.
Estos jóvenes artistas demostraron que el arte no tiene límites de edad, y que cuando se cultiva con pasión puede florecer desde muy temprano. Verlos participar en una exposición junto a pintores experimentados habla mucho de su dedicación y del apoyo que reciben para seguir creciendo.

The same room also featured works by more established artists. For example, Dijan Arma's oil on canvas painting entitled “Baby Jesus,” which conveyed a sense of peace with its delicate brushwork.

En la misma sala también se encontraban obras de artistas más consolidados. Por ejemplo, la de Dijan Arma, titulada “Niño Jesús”, realizada en óleo sobre lienzo, con una delicadeza que transmitía paz.

Alejandro Zabala, meanwhile, surprised everyone once again with his work “Inmaculada” (Immaculate), in which he used a mixed technique of oil and gold leaf on canvas, achieving an impressive result that captured the attention of everyone present.

The artist Yilda Burgos presented her work “Renaissance,” created in oil on canvas, with a unique style that stood out for its strength and originality.

Each painting had its own voice, its own message, and together they formed a journey full of color, spirituality, and creativity. The exhibition was undoubtedly an enriching experience, a perfect ending to a weekend full of meaningful moments.

Cada cuadro tenía su propia voz, su propio mensaje, y juntos formaban un recorrido lleno de color, espiritualidad y creatividad. La exposición fue, sin duda, una experiencia enriquecedora, un cierre perfecto para un fin de semana que estuvo lleno de momentos significativos.

Walking among these works, stopping to observe the details, and letting myself be carried away by the emotions they conveyed was a wonderful way to end Sunday. Art has the ability to connect us with our deepest selves, to remind us that there is always beauty and hope.
This visit was the perfect way to end our weekend, surrounded by color, talent, and inspiration. I am left with the satisfaction of having spent time with my family, of having tended my garden, and of having enjoyed the creativity of so many artists.

Caminar entre esas obras, detenerse a observar los detalles y dejarse llevar por las emociones que transmitían fue una manera maravillosa de despedir el domingo. El arte tiene esa capacidad de conectarnos con lo más profundo, de recordarnos que siempre hay belleza y esperanzas.
