[ENG/ESP] A day where every obstacle gave us the opportunity to grow.
Happy day, dear hives. I wish you a great day, full of positive energy. Today I want to share with you an experience that, although it was full of trials and minor setbacks, ended up being a day of learning and gratitude.
This day was a day of trials and learning for us. We realized, once again, that life is a path full of light and shadows, where sometimes we are faced with situations that seem too big for us. However, every obstacle brings with it a lesson, an opportunity to grow and discover the strength that lies within us.
I had an important meeting at the Sol Ecoland hotel, and when I left with the work van, it started to malfunction. As a result, we had to call a tow truck to move it. At that moment, I felt a knot in my stomach because I knew I had to fulfill my commitment, and I don't like to look bad when it comes to work. As soon as I arrived, I called to say I would be a little late. I felt bad about it, but luckily for me, the quality control manager told me that the meeting had been postponed until the afternoon. That news gave me some breathing room and allowed me to focus on solving the problem with the truck.
My husband, who has some mechanical knowledge, checked the vehicle and discovered that the fuel pump had been damaged. To remove it, the fuel tank had to be lowered, which was a difficult and demanding job, but he knew how to do it. He just needed time and patience.
Feliz día queridos hives. Les deseo un día genial, lleno de energía positiva. Hoy quiero compartirles una experiencia que, aunque estuvo cargada de pruebas y pequeños tropiezos, terminó siendo una jornada de aprendizajes y gratitud.
Este día fue un día de pruebas y aprendizajes para nosotros. Nos dimos cuenta, una vez más, que la vida es un camino lleno de luces y sombras, donde a veces nos pone frente a situaciones que parecen demasiado grandes para nosotros. Sin embargo, cada obstáculo trae consigo una lección, una oportunidad de crecer y descubrir la fortaleza que habita en nuestro interior.
Tenía una reunión importante en el hotel Sol Ecoland, y al salir con la camioneta de trabajo comenzó a fallar. El resultado fue que tuvimos que llamar a la grúa para poder trasladarla. En ese momento sentí un nudo en el estómago, porque sabía que debía cumplir con mi compromiso y no me gusta quedar mal en lo que se refiere al trabajo. Apenas llegué, llamé para comunicar que llegaría un poco tarde. Me sentía mal por eso, pero para mi suerte el gerente de control de calidad me dijo que la reunión quedaba pospuesta para la tarde. Esa noticia me dio un respiro y me permitió enfocarme en resolver el problema de la camioneta.
Mi esposo, que tiene algunos conocimientos de mecánica, revisó el vehículo y descubrió que la bomba de gasolina se había dañado. Para poder sacarla había que bajar el tanque de gasolina, un trabajo fuerte y exigente, pero él sabía cómo hacerlo. Solo necesitaba tiempo y paciencia.
I accompanied him during the inspection, checking with him that the pump was not working properly. We had no choice but to buy another one, and although that stressed us out a little because it was an unplanned expense, we understood that it was necessary.
The work truck couldn't be out of service; it was our daily tool and had to be kept in good condition.
Yo lo acompañé en la revisión, comprobando junto a él que la bomba no tenía fuerza. No quedaba más remedio que comprar otra, y aunque eso nos estresó un poco porque no era un gasto planificado, entendimos que era necesario.
La camioneta de trabajo no podía detenerse, era nuestra herramienta diaria y había que mantenerla en buen estado.
While my husband was working on the repair, I was very worried. I had to be at Ecoland at 2:30 pm, but I didn't want to pressure him or tell him to hurry up. I knew it was better for him to stay calm and do things right, because rushing in those cases can lead to mistakes.
Mientras mi esposo trabajaba en la reparación, yo estaba muy preocupada. Tenía que estar en Ecoland a las 2:30 pm, pero no quería presionarlo ni decirle que se apurara. Sabía que era mejor que él estuviera calmado y haciendo las cosas bien, porque la prisa en esos casos puede traer errores.
Finally, he said to me with a smile, “It's ready, we'll be rolling in a few minutes.” That sentence filled me with joy, because it was already 1:00 p.m. and we still had time to get there.
After finishing, he took a quick shower and we headed to the hotel via Portachuelo. We chose that route because it is busier and, in case of any unforeseen circumstances, it would be easier to ask for help.
Finalmente, me dijo con una sonrisa: “Ya está lista, en unos minutos estamos rodando”. Esa frase me llenó de alegría, porque ya eran la 1:00 de la tarde y aún teníamos tiempo de llegar.
Después de terminar, se bañó rápidamente y salimos rumbo al hotel por la vía de Portachuelo. Elegimos ese camino porque es más transitado y, en caso de algún imprevisto, sería más fácil pedir ayuda.
We passed through Santa Ana, and despite the stress and pressure of the hour, I was able to take in some of the scenery. It's amazing how, even in the midst of tension, nature gives us a break and reminds us that life is also made up of beauty and calm.
Pasamos por Santa Ana y, a pesar del estrés y la presión de la hora, pude contemplar algunos paisajes. Es increíble cómo, incluso en medio de la tensión, la naturaleza nos regala un respiro y nos recuerda que la vida también está hecha de belleza y calma.
Finally, I arrived at the hotel at the scheduled time for the meeting. Everything went well, and I was able to fulfill my commitment. Looking back, I realized that it had been an intense day, full of mixed emotions, but in the end, everything flowed smoothly, and that gave me peace of mind.
Dear friends, this experience taught me a lesson: problems always arise, but they also bring with them solutions and opportunities for learning. The important thing is to stay calm, trust in our abilities, and lean on those around us. Life is a journey in which every stumble makes us stronger and every achievement fills us with gratitude.

Finalmente, llegué al hotel a la hora programada para la reunión. Todo salió bien y pude cumplir con mi compromiso. Al mirar hacia atrás, comprendí que el día había sido intenso, lleno de emociones encontradas, pero al final todo fluyó y eso me dio tranquilidad.

Que importante es conocer algo de mecánica. Cualquiera no se atreve a desarmar el tanque de gasolina para montar la pila y menos con la presión del compromiso que tenían. Afortunadamente todo salio tal cual lo planeaste.
