Mondays, being the start of the work week, tend to have a reputation for being hectic days, full of pending tasks and that feeling that everything is starting all over again. However, I want to tell you that my Monday was quite the opposite: a calm, peaceful day full of little details that made it special. So, in addition to sharing my experience with you, I hope you also have a relaxed day full of good energy.
Sunday had been extraordinarily relaxing for me, a true gift of calm and rest. That serenity allowed me to start Monday with renewed energy, a positive attitude, and a willingness to tackle any task that came my way. My husband and I left early, as is our custom, to fulfill our work routine. We had to deliver some estimates that had been requested of us, and the weather seemed to be in perfect harmony with our mood: cool, pleasant, and with a light that highlighted the beauty of the landscapes.
During the trip, the landscapes were so beautiful that I couldn't resist taking some photos. We had plenty of time, so I allowed myself to enjoy those moments, capturing the magic of nature that accompanied us along the way. Those details, although simple, are what fill the day with joy and remind us that life is made up of moments that deserve to be appreciated. My husband, our son, and I try to value everything around us; we think that's what life is all about.
Los lunes, por ser el inicio de una semana de trabajo, suelen tener fama de ser días convulsos, llenos de pendientes y con esa sensación de que todo comienza de nuevo. Sin embargo, quiero contarles que mi lunes fue todo lo contrario; un día tranquilo, sereno y lleno de pequeños detalles que lo hicieron especial. Por eso, además de compartirles mi experiencia, les deseo que también tengan un día relajado y lleno de buenas energías.
El domingo había sido extraordinariamente relajado para mí, un verdadero regalo de calma y descanso. Esa serenidad me permitió iniciar el lunes con energías renovadas, con una actitud positiva y con la disposición de enfrentar cualquier tarea que se presentara. Mi esposo y yo salimos temprano, como es nuestra costumbre, para cumplir con nuestra rutina de trabajo. Teníamos que entregar algunos presupuestos que nos habían solicitado, y el clima parecía estar en perfecta sintonía como nuestro ánimo; fresco, agradable y con una luz que hacía resaltar la belleza de los paisajes.
Durante el trayecto, los paisajes se mostraban tan hermosos que no pude resistirme a tomar algunas fotos. Íbamos con tiempo suficiente, así que me permití disfrutar de esos momentos, capturando la magia de la naturaleza que nos acompañaba en el camino. Esos detalles, aunque sencillos, son los que llenan de alegría el día y nos recuerdan que la vida está hecha de instantes que merecen ser apreciados, mi esposo, nuestro hijo y yo tratamos de valorar todo lo que nos rodea, pensamos que de eso se trata la vida.
When we arrived at Sunsol Unik, everything went smoothly. We disinfected and chlorinated until the levels were appropriate, making sure everything was in order. Then we went to the laundry room, where there was a filter with a damaged valve. Calmly and without complications, we replaced it and left everything working properly. That feeling of satisfaction when completing the job and solving problems is something that always motivates us; knowing that we left everything in better condition than we found it.
Al llegar a Sunsol Unik, todo fluyó con naturalidad. Realizamos la desinfección y cloramos hasta que los valores fueran los apropiados, asegurándonos de que todo quedara en orden. Luego, nos dirigimos a la lavandería, donde había un filtro con la llave dañada. Con calma y sin complicaciones, lo cambiamos y dejamos todo funcionando correctamente. Esa sensación de satisfacción al cumplir con el trabajo y resolver los inconvenientes es algo que siempre nos motiva; saber que dejamos todo en mejores condiciones de como lo encontramos.
After that task, we still had to deliver a quote in the city and stop by a friend's house. She needed some medicine that she hadn't been able to get, and I still had some of the treatment I had used previously. Although it wasn't the complete treatment, at least it would help her get started while she got the rest. Being able to help her filled me with joy. It's nice to feel that what you have left over may be just what someone else needs.
As I left her house, I had an unexpected moment that made me laugh after the initial shock. At the entrance, there were two very calm iguanas, which seemed to be in their own world of love. At first, all I saw was a long tail, and I thought it was a snake. My heart skipped a beat, but upon closer inspection, I realized they were iguanas, and they were very still, as if they didn't care about our presence. I took two pictures of them, and they remained motionless, giving me a curious and charming scene that ended up being part of the anecdote of the day.
Después de esa tarea, nos quedaba entregar un presupuesto en la ciudad y pasar por la casa de una amiga. Ella necesitaba un medicamento que no había logrado conseguir, y yo aún tenía parte del tratamiento que había usado anteriormente. Aunque no era el tratamiento completo, al menos le serviría para comenzar mientras conseguía el resto. Poder ayudarla, me llenó de alegría. Es bonito sentir que lo que a uno le sobra puede ser justo lo que otro necesita.
Al salir de su casa, tuve un momento inesperado que me hizo reír después del susto inicial. En la entrada había dos iguanas muy tranquilas, que parecían estar en su propio mundo del amor. Al principio, lo único que vi fue una cola larga y pensé que se trataba de una culebra. Mi corazón dio un brinco, pero al observar mejor me di cuenta de que eran iguanas, y además estaban quietecitas, como si no les importara nuestra presencia. Les tomé dos fotos y ellas permanecieron inmóviles, regalándome una escena curiosa y simpática que terminó siendo parte de la anécdota del día.
With all our tasks completed, we set off on our return journey. The trip back was another opportunity to appreciate the beautiful day, with its landscapes full of color and life. That combination of work, nature, and unexpected little encounters meant that Monday, far from being hectic, turned out to be a relaxed and rewarding day.
Con todas nuestras tareas cumplidas, emprendimos el regreso a casa. El camino de vuelta fue otra oportunidad para apreciar el hermoso día, con sus paisajes llenos de color y vida. Esa mezcla de trabajo, naturaleza y pequeños encuentros inesperados hizo que el lunes, lejos de ser convulso, se convirtiera en un día relajado y gratificante.
