Wat Phra Rup has long been a famous ancient temple in Suphan Buri province approx. 600 years ago since the late U Thong period.

It is a beautiful ancient temple with many ancient artifacts for people to study.

One of the most important highlights of Wat Phra Rup is the Chinese Pavilion with only the front and side walls remaining.

The back area has collapsed, with a doorway decorated with Chinese patterns that resemble peonies and auspicious Chinese animals.

Inside, a Buddha image is enshrined under a large tree.

In addition, Wat Phra Rup has the U Thong Chedi and the remains of a Dvaravati period chedi which are very interesting for history study.

If you visit Suphan Buri, do not miss Wat Phra Rub.

It will not disappoint you.
