Urban life vs Rural life

avatar

Between urban life and rural life, which one do you like most?

For me, if I could choose, I would love rural life because it’s peaceful surrounded with nice nature. Fresh air from nature makes me feel good.

Besides, there is a very large area around the house that can be used for gardening; i.e. vegetables, fruits and flowers, etc. So, all vegetables and fruits from my garden are safe for eating as they are free from any chemicals. And flowers, especially the white ones, can brighten my days.

However, I have to visit my mom who lives in the urban area in Bangkok once a week during the weekend. I have to face traffic congestion and chaotic city life.

Besides, in the urban area, there are many high buildings and only small space for trees.

By the way, I always feel happy when I wake up and see the gorgeous sunrise among the high buildings.

That’s my life…. How about you? Urban life or rural life is the best for you or suits you most?

Rural life is beautiful for natural environment and simple life. Urban life is very busy and full of noise but the benefits are more here. I prefer rural life

I grew up in the countryside. I lived in the city for a few years. Now I live in the country again, in a nice little house with a large plot of land. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. In the city, you can usually get to the stores in a few minutes or if you want to go out, you can go to a pub, for example. In the country, you often need a car. But nothing draws me to the city anymore, except for visits.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support. It is also very much appreciated by me.

Unfortunately, I don't always find the time to curate the posts personally. Unfortunately, it sometimes happens that my autovoter votes for posts that I don't agree with. I then only look at the voted posts sporadically. This is urgently needed at the moment because there are 18,000 accounts that have been compressed, which is why I'm mainly curating personally at the moment. I have reconfigured the autovoter. I know that my votes are in good hands with you and I also follow you in the autovoter. I'm happy when I find time to read. And lo and behold, you've touched on a topic I was recently discussing with my wife.

We will read each other. Until then, I wish you a good time.

It depends @tangmo.
I wouldn't mind to live in rural area, as long as there is no issues with internet connection :-D and no difficulties in shopping for particular grocery stuffs.
However since my husband is no longer that young and our daughter is so small, I think living in rural area is not a good idea, because it will be too far from good medical facilities. There's no helicopter ambulance here in Asia so it will be useless even if you have millions of dollars if there's a life threathening emergency and you're out of no where LOL. You will die first before you got proper help.

It's a good reason for your family..... And that's also the main reason why my mom stays in the city now as it's close to the hospital. (my mom is very old now, at the age of 92 years old.)

Many thanks for stopping by. I agree with your decision. ;)
