Gorgeous Dok Fueang Fah that can attract my eyes

Dok Fueang Fah in the Thai language or Bougainvillea flower in the English language is a gorgeous flower that my father used to plant in our home’s garden as a hedge. It decorated our garden very well and added color to our home.

Dok Fueang Fah is a popular flowering plant that has various bright colors. In the past, I misunderstood that the brightly colored parts were their flowers. I just recently learnt that these parts are not actually flowers but they are their bracts or leaves that serve to protect the plant and help attract insects and birds for pollination.

Their leaves have a thin, paper-like, or film-like texture with vibrant colors; i.e. such as pink, red, purple, orange, and white, etc.

The true flowers of Dok Fueang Fah are small with white or cream-colored and tubular in shape, nestled within the bracts or leaves.

As far as I know, Dok Fueang Fah can help absorb toxins from the air and increases oxygen levels in the environment as well.

These Dok Fueang Fah that I found can attract my eyes very much!
