We get involved in sports

Hello everyone!!! Today is Friday, which means we will talk about our purchases on #MarketFriday by @dswigle (see details here: https://ecency.com/hive-196308/@dswigle/the-humming-of-bees-and-lavender-tales).
At the end, I was able to make a post: for some reason, photos were not uploading before.
Do you like to play sports? Everyone knows that sport is important for health. If someone had told me a few years ago that I would go to a sports store to choose a mat for sports, I would not have believed him. 😁

I was as far away from sports as a hippopotamus from ballet. 🤣 But just this week, my husband and I went to a huge sporting goods store. I forgot to take a picture of it from the side, but it's a huge hangar stuffed with everything possible. In front of the entrance stood a wide variety of tents for hiking.

There were also fishing tents. I did not take pictures of a large variety of different fishing rods and tackle for fishing standing nearby.

There were also several racks of roller skates. Do you love riding them? 😀

Next to the roller skates there were several sections with bicycles for every taste.

Some bikes were very expensive. By the way, we walked there not out of a big love for bicycles and fishing, 😁 but because we were looking for yoga mats and could not find it. But along the way we found a bunch of everything that we didn’t need at the moment. 😁 For example sportswear and tennis rackets.

There was also a large rack with boxing gloves nearby, but we don't like boxing so I didn't take a picture of it..
I took this photo to try and show you the sheer size of the hangar.

And finally we found them!

Then there was the most difficult part: I had to choose a yoga mat from those presented there.

To be honest, it was not easy, because the price difference between cheap, not very good quality mats and high-quality mats turned out to be unexpectedly large.

The choice took time and here is our purchase!

This is a very high quality mat with special straps to make it convenient to carry. It's pretty heavy. Now I will show you our old yoga mat. Compare them!

We know what a cheap thing of low quality is, so I'm incredibly glad that now we have such a wonderful mat for sports exercises. 😀💃

Take care of yourself and be healthy!!

Maybe not exactly a sport, but today I started doing physical therapy. My left is almost completely healed from the radius subcap fracture. It is still healing. The physical therapy is helping.

You're absolutely right! And you're a good fellow for doing physiotherapy exercises. I didn't know about your hand. I wish you a speedy recovery!!

I wish you a speedy recovery!!

Thank you. My left hand is almost completely healed. Probably it will still need a few weeks for the complete healing.

Awesome! That is a pretty nice-looking yoga mat! They are hard to choose, aren't they? I bought a cheapie the first time out because ... it's only a mat, right? So very wrong! I am going to be sitting on that mat and I would like to have a little bit more cushion on it.

It always seems like whatever I need is deeply embedded in the store, so it is like taking a major hike as all the sporting goods stores are HUGE!

I really like the color of it and it looks nice and plus. Were they very expensive? I think my mat was about $90.00 on sale, it was Manduka PROlite 4,7mm I opted for lighter this time around, but, it doesn't feel cheap. Thanks for taking us along with you!

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday
