Shop of natural products outside the city

Hello everyone!!! Today is Friday, which means we will talk about our purchases on #MarketFriday by @dswigle (see details here: https://ecency.com/hive-196308/@dswigle/peaking-in-lavender-by-market-friday).
My husband and I went to a shopping center located outside the city. I always plan to visit the natural food store in such cases. It is one of the chain stores of that brand but the biggest one with the best selection.

In front of the store, I saw a car decorated for the wedding, stared at it and forgot to take a picture of the store outside. 😄 Inside, it looks like this:

Receding shelves with a huge variety of products.

But of course I don't need that much. 😀 I was looking for a shelf with Japanese-Chinese products.

It turned out to be a little deeper. I immediately saw soy sauce, mirin, teriaki, etc. There were rice paper and seaweed nearby.

I don't need it for now. But I need shiitake mushrooms!

These are very healthy mushrooms and my husband learned how to cook them deliciously.
There were also different types of curry paste.

I love curry and use it often in cooking. But I still can’t make friends with curry paste: I have a yellow jar at home and no matter how much I use it in food, I can’t find a recipe that I like the food.
But this is what I need: miso paste!

I read that light miso paste tastes different than dark miso. But honestly, I don't see much of a difference.

Sometimes I use dark miso paste, sometimes light miso. This time I decided to take the light one.

I have already found some of the purchases I need. I go further.

There must be organic cocoa in here somewhere.

I read that Dutch cocoa powder is considered the best. Unfortunately, it wasn't available so I got another one. I usually choose low-fat cocoa - up to 6-8% fat.
It remains to find prunes and amaranth. Here we have prunes.

And on this stand of cereals and among them I found amaranth. Wonderful!

Here are all my purchases!

I want to show you the name of the chain of these stores.

See the pattern of cherries? It just translates - Cherry on the cake! Unexpected for natural food stores, right? 😄😀

Take care of yourself and be healthy!!

Congratulations! Whenever I go to a specialty store for organics, it seems I always come up short when searching for many different items. You scored it all! Your husband cooks your shitake mushrooms a special way? Or is it incorporated into a recipe?

I like the store, it certainly seems very well-organized and clean. I have never been a great Asian cook. However, I find myself leaning more and more into some of their recipes. The light taste of most satisfies my hunger and doesn't feel too overfull. I eat less meat too.

The wedding car was fun. I might have gone on a search through the store to find someone who looked newly married! :) Yes, the name was something I didn't expect!! Thanks so much for taking us along!!!

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday

I also like Japanese and Chinese cuisine, it is the ease of digestion for the stomach. I don’t like everything there either, but something suits us and we periodically cook it.

Я тоже очень люблю амарант. Да и к черносливу совсем не равнодушна. Значит у нас с тобой похожие вкусы :-)
