My motivation to keep working on sewing projects
Good Monday to all our creative community!!! I hope this week has been productive for you and that you are doing well!
I noticed that I enjoy taking off sewing. 🙈 I have a great excuse - I knit and work on several knitting projects at the same time. 🙄 In order to somehow motivate myself to sew, I decided to use the technique of our dear @shanibeer.

I reviewed my sewing projects that have been in bags for a long time and sorted them into piles depending on what I intend to do with them. As a result, I received four stacks and another fifth - two skirts. At first it was a whole scary mountain, but now it didn't look so scary 😁

Here I have collected already started projects but not completed 🙈

In the second pile, a dress and a sundress that need to be converted, for example, into skirts, since the top is no longer good but sorry to throw it away.

The third pile of things is the largest. Here I have collected things suitable for future projects. The fabric here is natural and I want to think about how I can recycle it.

And it's time to say goodbye to these things - it's time to throw them away, no matter how much I feel sorry for them.

These two skirts require little intervention. I want to decorate the black skirt a little with black lace and fix the top of the pockets so that they do not puff. The red skirt is a little uncomfortable in my waist - I need to think about what I can do in view of this. It may be enough just to remove the belt itself. I will still think about it. 🙄
I also had two skirts made of dense fabric that were also tight in my waist. Fortunately for me, I lost a little weight and now these skirts fit me just perfectly (here my sewing procrastination played into my hands) 😁
Now I have a clearer plan of action for sewing. Hopefully I can get this all done. 🙈😀

Thank you very much for your interest in my posts!
Yay! 🤗

Greetings @tali72, motivation is very important to carry out the projects, organizing pending work is a great step to finish them, I hope you will be able to finish them soon.
Thanks a lot! I am not so bold in my hopes.😀 I still hope that I will have the courage to start working on them 😁😀
What a strategy.
I think we all need to do this kind of review, it helps to relief some of the stress we feel regarding the number of workload at hand.
Thanks for sharing dear 💖💕❤.
I wish you speed with all the projects.
Lots of love from me to you 💖😍❤😘
thank you my dear!!! I don't even dream about speed at work. 🙈 I hope I finally have the courage to start working on this. have a nice weekend! 😀
And did it work?
I was about to do the same, some clearness can never be wrong😂but seeing too many unfinished projects, sometimes has the opposite effect...
for me it worked. I try to look at only one stack of projects 😁
Hello Tali. Well, putting everything that needs to be done out in the open and breaking it down into small tasks helps make the big small. All the fabrics of those garments look good, I hope you manage to transform them into beautiful projects. Greetings ❤️!
I hope so. 🙈 thank you very much my dear! 😀
Wow friend, so much work to do, I would have been scared too, the good thing is that once everything is sorted and classified, the panorama changes a lot.
I wish you all the success in the execution of your projects.
Thank you so much for your kind words my dear!!! you're absolutely right - it doesn't look so intimidating anymore 😀
