Big bad swan and 3 little ones 🦢
I met swans on my walk. I was quite polite, I passed by, but the parent (I don't know if it was she or he) didn't like it. He got angry even though I was quite far away. I was shooting with an 80mm APS-C sensor lens, which corresponds to about 120mm of full frame, so I was quite a few meters away from them.
Na spacerze spotkałem łabędzie. Byłem dość grzeczny, przechodziłem obok, ale rodzicowi (nie wiem czy to ona czy on) się to nie spodobało. Zezłościł się, chociaż byłem dość daleko. Fotografowałem obiektywem 80mm matrycy APS-C która odpowiada jakimś 120mm pełnej klatki, więc byłem sporo metrów od nich.
The large swan did not give up and started to come out of the water and approach the road next to the pond. Probably if I stood with the camera for a long time, it would come out of the water onto the road and start chasing me. I know that swans with young babies are aggressive and combative.
Duży łabędź nie dawał za wygraną, zaczął wychodzić z wody i zbliżać się do drogi obok stawu. Pewnie jak bym długo stał z aparatem, to wyszedłby z wody na drogę i zaczął mnie gonić. Wiem, że łabędzie z młodymi dziećmi są agresywne i waleczne.
I quickly moved away and they started swimming away pretty quickly too. A short walking story from two months ago :)
Szybko się oddaliłem, a one też dość szybko zaczęły odpływać. Taka krótka spacerowa historia sprzed dwóch miesięcy :)

In my village, Swans can be derangous animal. Me, afraid as well. Swan like to running to the people that walk in front of them. 😅
Hmm one thing, I thought in your pictures are different Swans but yeah still have similar act.
I curious why the small ones have brown color.
It is possible that the species Mute Swan (Cygnus olor) - young unfeathered birds are brown :)
