관악산 연주대(Gwanaksan Yeonjudae)
관악산 연주대(Gwanaksan Yeonjudae)
‘Yeonjudae’ is a place where a flat house was built by building a shaft on Fireworks Rock, a little far south from the top of Gwanaksan Mountain. Looking at the Chinese characters of the name, ‘Yeon’ means to miss, and ‘Master’ means master, that is, the king.
It is said that the Yeonjudae was originally called ‘Uisangdae’ as a small hermitage built in 677 by Uisangdaesa of Silla. The current name of Yeonjudae was given during the Joseon Dynasty. The most widely known legend associated with the name is that when Joseon was founded and the capital was moved from Gaeseong to Hanyang (now Seoul), people who missed Goryeo climbed here and missed the old dynasty and loyalists.

.Wonderful work of nature! It’s amazing how the architecture was built on that geological wonder. I’m really impressed 🤩
Thanks a lot.
Such a steep rock and such a beautiful structure on top of it seems really surprising to me.
Thank you so much!
That house is at the edge of the cliff. That's very common then.
It's the best scene in Gwanak mountain.
I see. It's very beautiful.
