Seeing a pine tree that lives and takes root on a rocky peak without a single grain of soil raises awe beyond mystery. I can't see any other plants, but I don't know if only pine trees can survive in this harsh environment.
Rocks and pine trees are like landmarks of not only Mt. Gwanak, but also Mt. Bukhan, Mt. Dobong, and Mt. Bulam, which are made of rocks around Seoul.
