Ratagul is known as the Amazon of Bangladesh.
It is difficult to take more than one day off in a busy life. So that day should be spent in such a way that we can get joy and education in the day. Last weekend I visited Ratargul in Sylhet.
In the local language of Sylhet, Murta or Patigach is known as 'Ratagach'. The forest is named Ratargul after the murta or nightshade. Like the Amazon, much of the vegetation is underwater for four to seven months of the year.
I was enjoying the sound of boats in such a quiet afternoon. This is how I was wandering in the Ratargul of Sylhet, known as the Amazon of Bengal.
Ratargul is the only 'Freshwater Swamp Forest' in our country. The distance of this swamp forest from Sylhet is about 26 km.
The Amazon is the only one that can be compared with this forest. But although it is known as rain forest, the world's largest freshwater swamp forest is the Amazon
But in winter, Ratagul is like ten other forests, leafless and dry. And small canals become roads. And then the aquatic animals take shelter in the big ponds of the forest department.
This water kingdom is very strange in monsoon. Every tree is waist deep in water. The ones that are a little smaller, half of their bodies are submerged in water.
All in all, everyone will like the natural beauty here. I also really liked the place and enjoyed it a lot.
Again and again Bangladesh's natural beauty never ceases to amaze me every single time! The water, the shapes of the trees and the reflections are all so magical I just really want to visit this same place sometime soon just to document this on camera! Thanks so much for sharing the beauty of your country!
Yes Bangladesh is full of natural beauty. Thank you for this love for Bangladesh
