I fell in love with Lalakhal.

One thing I have learned from life which is, if we spend our life in busyness then we may accumulate a lot of wealth, but then there will be no energy to enjoy life. So we should fulfill our desires along with our busyness.

I went to Sylhet for some personal work. Before returning home after the work, I planned to visit Sylhet's famous Lalakhal.

After finishing the work as planned, I spent the night at the northern resort and hired a boat the next morning to go to Lalakhal.I hired a boat because the place is quite far from Sylhet city and there are no boats on the river in the evening. So it is best to travel by renting a boat.

The place is perfect for experiencing nature very closely. There are mountains, green forests, rivers, tea gardens and various types of trees. But I wanted to come here on a full moon night because the beauty of the river in the light of the full moon is an event to be remembered for a lifetime.

The most interesting thing about Lalakhal is the different colored water. Different colors in different parts of the canal. Like blue, green and clear water.

Lalakhal river has numerous bends. Every bend is beautiful. Looking at the mountains, it seems that someone has arranged the mountains in a row.Clouds cling to the mountains in groups. Sometimes the clouds disappear behind the mountains.

Winter is the best time to visit Lalakhal. Beautiful blue water can be seen during winter.Due to the clarity of the water, the bottom can be seen from above. It really looks amazing! During monsoons the water loses its color. In addition, during winter a variety of birds can be seen.

Lalakhal is located in Jointa upazila, 35 km from Sylhet city of Bangladesh. Lalakhal originates from the Cherrapunji hills and flows through Bangladesh. It is a part of Sari river.

There is no tourist accommodation in Lalakhal area. It is quite far from the city. There are no boats on the river in the evening, so the trip has to be completed by evening.The moment before dusk is more beautiful in Lalakhal. All in all, traveling to Lalakhal was a wonderful experience of my life.
