Time to celebrate! 🥰

This time I spend on a week in joy!
Wedding and baptism with my relatives.
The opportunity to get a little sorted out, playing and hanging out.
Somehow I don't stay much time for socializing and going out ...

There's drinks and dinner...
It is played with Serbian folk songs...
These are nice customs, when you come to pick up a bride,and the brothers don't give her... The groom offers money to let her go. This is of course symbolic... But their conversation is interesting, in fact a competition, who who will outsmart...

Then the groom needs to hit the apple with a rifle, and the sieve is thrown over the roof...
All this so that the marriage starts well, lasts a long time and they have many children....

In recent times, weddings are held after a year or two of marriage, and at the same time a child or children are baptized.... All for one cost...
This brought modern times, and slowly the customs before the wedding itself were lost!

This brought modern times, and slowly the customs before the wedding itself were lost!

A love song goes with this.
"I long to tell you the deepest words I have to tell you;
but I dare not, fearing she might laugh at me.
That's why I laugh at myself, and tell my secret in jest.
I take my pain lightly, fearing that she might do it to you...

... I long to tell you the most faithful words I have to tell you;
but I dare not, fearing she might suspect them.
That is why I clothe them in falsehood, and speak contrary to what I think.
I let my pain look stupid, afraid she might do it to you...

... I long to use the most precious words I have for you;
but I dare not, fearing that it will not return to me in the same measure.
That's why I call you ugly names and brag about my cruelty.
I give you pain, fearing that you will never know what pain is...

I long to sit silently next to you,
but I dare not, because otherwise my heart would leap out of my mouth.
So I babble and chatter around, and fill my heart with words.
I take my pain harshly, fearing that she might do it to you...

I long to leave you forever,
but I dare not, fearing she might discover my cowardice...

That's why I raise my head proudly and come cheerfully to your company...
The constant arrows from your eyes keep my pain forever fresh."
Rabindranath Tagore

My favorite poet of infinite wisdom and love...
