Snow in the forest 🥰

Snow in the forest, it surprised me.
It did snow here, but a few days ago!

On Sundays I usually take a walk in the forest, and that's near the village of Šušara. There are nice sandy paths, which were full of moisture today.. I had to go around at least three ponds...

I'm delighted that there was still snow here in Deliblato sandstone, I'm sorry I couldn't come earlier.

It was even colder than in my village.
It was impossible to walk fast, the wet sand stuck to my boots... my legs became heavy, and I had to get back to the car.

We arrived late, and the sun was already disappearing behind the forest. We were lucky to see the sun at all, because the day was foggy and cloudy...

Only in the last half hour of the walk, the sun appeared... Just in time to see the sunset...

A real winter sunset, like from old postcards... When I capture a moment like this, I remember those postcards, which delighted me with their magical depictions of winter....

I couldn't wait to receive the postcard, and to be surprised by its beauty.

As we were coming over the hill, a red circle saw us in the rear view mirror, the sun disappearing...
I didn't get to take photos...
