Flowers Photography Challenge

Hello to everyone in this amazing #Photographylovers community! This is my entry for the Flowers Photography Challenge #1; below I share with you my photograph:

This is a small flower that rarely appears in my garden. This one, guided by the weather, blooms at rainy or cloudy times. This past week it has rained constantly, so it graced my family with its appearance this overcast afternoon.

This flower, according to my internet research, is called Carissa. It grows on a low shrub with hard, gathered flowers. It is very small, delicate and sensuous. I like the way it stands out against the green leaves in the garden: it is elegant and powerful in its own way.
