Finding a new Hotel

Oh dear, I forgot to tell you about our "hotel tour", which we did on April 20, 2024. Or rather: the spontaneous booking of a new hotel... Yes, you heard right. A friend of mine no longer liked the vibe of her original and old accommodation. She didn't feel well looked after and treated, which is why she decided to book new accommodation. What sounds easy at first was a difficult undertaking, because most of the hotels she liked were already fully booked.

So we walked and drove from one to the other resort to check out the options on site. In the end, the dear soul found a nice (but not very cheap) room in a very chic resort & spa. In the pictures it still looks in top condition, which was no longer quite the case. Nevertheless, it was a fantastically beautiful location where you could really relax. Exactly what my girlfriend had wanted all along. But as they say? Better late than never.

auf der Suche nach einem neuen Hotel

Hach herrje, da habe ich glatt vergessen über unsere "Hoteltour" zu berichten, welche wir am 20.April 2024 gemacht hatten. Oder besser gesagt: die spontane Buchung eines neuen Hotels... Ja, richtig gehört. Die ursprüngliche und alte Unterkunft meiner Freundin gefiel ihr von den Vibes nicht mehr. Sie hat sich nicht gut aufgehoben und behandelt gefühlt, weshalb sie sich entschlossen hatte eine neue Unterkunft zu buchen. Was zuerst einfach klingt war ein schweres Unterfangen, denn die meisten Hotels, welche ihr gefielen, waren schon völlig ausgebucht.

Somit liefen und fuhren wir von einem zum anderen Resort, um vor Ort die Möglichkeiten abzuchecken. Am Ende fand die liebe Seele noch ein schönes (aber nicht ganz sooo billiges Zimmer) in einem sehr schicken Resort & SPA. Auf den Bildern sieht es noch Top in Schuss aus, was nicht mehr ganz so der Fall war. Nichts desto trotz war es eine traumhaft schöne Location, in der man richtig entspannen konnte. Genau das, was meine Freundin eigentlich die ganze Zeit wollte. Aber wie sagt man so schön? Besser spät als nie.

But now let's see my impressions...

Let's check out the Tama Hotel first. It's located in Aonang/ Krabi. A lovely Hotel close to the street. We were not allowed to see the rooms but we looked around at the reception area. To our shame it was fully booked.

Schauen wir uns zuerst das Tama Hotel an. Es befindet sich in Aonang/ Krabi. Ein schönes Hotel in der Nähe der Straße. Die Zimmer durften wir nicht sehen, aber wir sahen uns an der Rezeption um. Zu unserer Schande war es ausgebucht.

A friend of mine checked in this hotel. I joined her company and helped her with her bags and cases.

Eine Freundin von mir checkte in diesem Hotel ein. Ich leistete ihr Gesellschaft und half ihr mit ihren Taschen und Koffern.

I love it. To take a boat is always fun.

Ich liebe es. Es macht immer Spaß, ein Boot zu nehmen.

So sieht die Umgebung aus, wenn man von Bord geht und zur Rezeption bzw. zum Hotel läuft.

This lovely chill out area is the reception. I couldn't make pictures of all because its not allowed to take photos when people are around. Privacy... You knoooow.

Dieser schöne Chill-out-Bereich ist die Rezeption. Ich konnte nicht alles fotografieren, weil es nicht erlaubt ist, Fotos zu machen, wenn Leute dabei sind. Privatsphäre... Ihr wisst schon.

Roomtour. This is the amazing bathroom with a view of the ocean. Incredible calming down.

Zimmertour. Dies ist das fantastische Badezimmer mit Blick auf das Meer. Unglaublich beruhigende Aussicht.

The bedroom or mainroom. It's beautiful decorated. The staff told me they always decorate it like that.

Das Schlafzimmer oder der Hauptraum. Es ist schön dekoriert. Das Hotelpersonal hat mir gesagt, dass sie es immer so dekorieren.

And back... I brought my friend to her new hotel and went back. It was around 1 month before I moved by myself to Koh Phangan, an island in Thailand.

Und zurück... Ich brachte meine Freundin zu ihrem neuen Hotel und fuhr zurück. Es dauerte etwa einen Monat ab da noch, bis ich allein nach Koh Phangan, einer Insel in Thailand, zog.
