Did you know that banyan trees are a heritage of our country? This is a traditional wealth of our country.These trees are witnesses to history and they still bear witness to history.Banyan trees were most commonly seen in ancient Bengal and the Indian subcontinent.These banyan trees created a formidable presence in rural areas.The simple people of rural Bengal also called this tree the ghost tree.

Because this banyan tree looks very scary.The banyan tree is very tall and wide all around.Many branches and roots of the banyan tree are visible due to which it stands in a scary shape.People of rural Bengal are still afraid to go near this banyan tree at night.But among the trees, I think this tree looks the most terrifyingly beautiful.However, we believe that because this tree is so large, some invisible spirit may reside within it.

But they do not harm us.However during the day this plant is completely safe for humans.To my knowledge, this tree does not harm humans and I know that this tree has been beneficial to humans since ancient times.This banyan tree was once enough to cool the soul and body of a person.This banyan tree is huge and people take shelter under its shade.Travelers take shelter under its shade to escape from the extreme heat.

I remember in the 1980s, when we were going to our relatives' houses on the dirt road in the rural areas, we would see a banyan tree on the side of the road and it was a huge banyan tree.While walking, we used to get tired and take shelter under the shade of that banyan tree.History says that once this banyan tree was a very valuable resource and people valued it a lot. So I can say that this banyan tree holds our tradition.This banyan tree is the heritage of our country.But sadly this banyan tree is on the verge of extinction today.

History shows that banyan trees are no longer seen as they used to be because people are cutting them down, which is a very sad thing.People are cutting down trees to build houses and create agricultural land.But there is still some hope and that is that nature lovers are still planting this banyan tree in different places.We have a banyan tree in our small town and it is now growing very big.Many people spend time and get entertainment under the shade of this banyan tree.So we have to protect these banyan trees at any cost.

This Saturday morning I went under the banyan tree in our small town and observed the natural beauty around it.This morning I picked up the garbage lying around the banyan tree.The pictures below bear witness to the cleaning of garbage from the banyan tree area.
