Day 4: Buena Suerte Resort’s Natural Pool and a Sunset Adventure in Romblon

Our fourth day in Romblon was another wonderful chapter in our island journey. We spent the morning at Buena Suerte Resort, a peaceful spot that truly feels connected to nature. One of the most special features of this resort is its natural pool—a calm, clear swimming area formed naturally by the sea and rock formations. What makes it even more magical is the surrounding greenery. The pool is embraced by tall trees, leafy plants, and colorful flowers, making it feel like a secret garden by the sea. The sound of birds and the fresh, salty air added to the peaceful mood, and swimming there felt like we had discovered a hidden paradise.

Buena Suerte Resort may not be the most luxurious, but it offers something even better—quiet beauty and pure relaxation. It’s a place where time seems to slow down, and you can simply enjoy the moment without rushing.

In the afternoon, we set out for another adventure—the famous Romblon Romblon Loop. This scenic ride takes you around the island’s main road, passing by stunning beaches, mountain views, and charming local villages. The loop is a beautiful way to explore the island and see how peaceful and simple life is in Romblon. Along the way, we made a quick stop to buy some snacks—sweet banana con yello, fries, hotdog sandwiches, siomai and refreshing coconut juice that kept us energized for the ride.

While enjoying our snacks, we met manong Garry, who surprised us with her pet—a monkey. It was an unusual sight, and to be honest, I don’t think it’s legal to have a pet like that. Still, it was interesting to see how close they were. The monkey was calmly sitting on her shoulder, holding a piece of food, almost like a child. It was a surprising and memorable part of our trip.

After completing the loop, we returned to Talipasak Beach Resort just in time for the sunset. The sky was painted in soft shades of orange and pink as we sat by the shore, listening to the gentle waves. It was the perfect ending to a day filled with nature, adventure, and a few unexpected moments.

We finished the day with a quiet dinner by the beach and soon headed to bed, grateful for another beautiful day in Romblon. Each moment here feels like a treasure, and tomorrow, we look forward to more.
