I love all the not-so-touristy destinations, those are the best vacation getaways ever! When feeling out of sorts and not my best, I often envision being in a faraway destination and relaxing in the imagination. It works wonders for the soul.

We must have been sisters in a previous life, as I feel the same. I'm really glad you find these places better than the hyped ones, packed with tourists. Places like these do indeed work wonders for the soul.
