Last year, while hopping various pandals during Durga Puja, I captured a few photographs.
Let me share that in Kolkata (India), Durga Puja is the biggest festival in my state!
Before starting the festival, autumn keeps reminding us that the festival is on the way because only this season, Night Jasmine or Coral Jasmine, starts blooming!

Another significant part is Kans Grass/Wild Sugarcane starts making us remember that goddess Durga is on the way to coming from Kailash (in-laws house) to her father's home and will stay for ten days!

Last year, I captured some photos of the pandals and goddess Durga's idols during the Puja!
I couldn't go so far and only captured pictures in my locality because during this period the crowd increased a lot!

However, there are so many mythological stories behind Hindu religions and I enjoy reading them because there are some lessons hidden inside!

What I believe is no matter the festival belongs to which religion, each of them tries to give us a message of unity and integrity!
Though we invented so many things and unravelled so many mysterious acts of nature and science still, we can feel the presence of so many things that are still science unable to disclosure!
Somehow, I believe the supreme power and nature love to keep suspense and give humans hints of their presence, just like the winds we can feel but can't see or capture!
I believe inventions are significant, but let some power be kept secret.

We all eagerly wait for this biggest festival every year because it's not just a festival. It's symbolic of the joy over evil power by a lady to kill the demon Mahishasura!
It's a festival that gives a message to those who don't know about the power of women!
I believe that each festival not only brings joy but also brings a message that we must learn!
