🌸 Recording Pride and New Beginnings: A Significant Step for My Little Daughter 🌸

Hello, my dear friends!

Today I have a heartwarming story and family update to share from March 17th, 2026. It was a day filled with a mix of happiness, exhaustion, and anxiety, all part of the daily routine.

✨ The First Step Towards a New School
The beginning of a wonderful story started on March 16th. I took my youngest daughter to take a language proficiency test at Trang Christian School, a private school she has always dreamed of attending in the first year of secondary school (Grade 7). She was very determined to choose the program that emphasizes English and Chinese because she wants to improve her language skills for the future.
The test was no small feat. She had to spend two full hours with the teachers, taking both a written exam and an interview in a foreign language. As a mother, I admit I was just as nervous as my daughter. But in the end, her efforts paid off! She passed! 🎉

Preparation Mission
On the morning of March 17th, the school scheduled a meeting to handle tuition fees and purchase school supplies. Even though her previous school wasn't on break yet, my daughter took leave to attend to this important task. We took care of the school uniform, bag, swimsuit, and other supplies required by the school, ensuring everything met the school's standards.
After that, we headed to the market in town, as advised, to purchase additional uniform items and supplies to complete the list. Most importantly, we had to keep all receipts to present to the school for confirmation. Watching my daughter try on her new uniform and prepare her new school supplies filled my heart with joy. She's scheduled to start her preparatory classes on April 20th.

❤️ The Strength of Support at Home and Responsibility
After completing my daughter's responsibilities, another aspect of my life began immediately upon returning home. During this time, I had to closely care for my mother-in-law, whose condition had worsened. She refused to eat or even drink water, causing worry among her family. We did everything we could to care for her.

Besides household chores, there's also some unfinished work on site: clearing the area around my husband's old house that we've divided up for his sister. Yesterday's work was quite challenging, both due to the condition of the area and the tight schedule, but we persevered and completed the job successfully.

A single day in life may bring both things that make us smile broadly and things that make us sigh with heavy hearts. But that's the reality of life, where we do our best as mothers, daughters-in-law, and working professionals.
