π€π₯ A Mission of the Heart and Family Bonds: A Record of Yesterday at Trang Hospital π«°π»β£οΈ
Hello, my dear friends!
It's me, the strong housewife, back again. My daily life may seem to revolve around the same tasks, but within that monotony, there's always great meaning hidden, especially on this morning, March 16th, 2026, when my husband and I's schedules are filled with duties that we must perform with our hearts.
Good morning with duties and care.
This morning begins with the usual warm and hectic pace. I woke up to take care of my mother-in-law before heading to tend to our little pets in the Anatta Garden. Seeing them well-fed and happy is the best positive energy to start the day. Then I hurried back to the temple area to prepare breakfast for my clever daughter, as she has a special activity at the vocational college today before the long summer break.
Our most important task today was to take my husband's aunt to her doctor's appointment at Trang Hospital. We decided to go as a large group because we wanted to give her plenty of encouragement. Going to the hospital isn't fun for the elderly, but having family members surrounding her would surely lessen her worries.

A Break While Waiting: Coffee and Peace
After dropping off my daughter and my aunt at the doctor's, my husband and I went off to deal with our computer and the car's air conditioning problems. I found it a little funny that the AC was acting up so unreliable β the engine was scorching hot on the way here, but it worked perfectly fine once we got it to the mechanic! π€£ The mechanic jokingly advised us to wait until it's completely broken before bringing it back. While waiting, we stopped at a small Cafe Amazon, ordered warm coffee and two pieces of soft cake. It was a short moment where my husband and I could relax and chat amidst our hectic schedules. Just sitting and sipping coffee quietly like this was a real treat for us.

Warmth Under the Shade of Trees in the Trang Hospital Parking Lot
Upon returning to the hospital, I found it incredibly crowded inside. I decided to wait for my relatives in a small garden by the sidewalk in the parking lot. Even though it was just a small spot, sitting in the shade under the trees and watching people go by was very calming.
Around lunchtime, hunger struck. My husband and I stopped at a street food stall in front of the hospital and ordered a plate of fried rice with crispy pork, each costing 60 baht. It looked very appetizing, but the first bite⦠wow! It was incredibly spicy, too much for me to handle. I gave up, drank several sips of water, and decided to return to my spot under the tree to wait.
While waiting hopefully, a vendor came by selling snacks. I bought some boiled peanuts and herbal miang kham (a Thai snack) for 20 baht each to munch on. Sitting and shelling the boiled peanuts in the open air with a gentle breeze made the long wait seem less boring.

A day may pass, leaving behind fatigue, unfinished errands, or food that doesn't taste good. But what always makes me smile is knowing that we have fulfilled our roles as family members to the fullest β as mothers caring for our children, as attentive daughters-in-law, and as grandchildren ready to stand by our elders when they need encouragement. π«°π»βπ»β₯οΈ

Thank you to all my friends who have always followed and supported this strong housewife. I'll have more stories to share tomorrow, so don't forget to tune in! For today, I have to go. Goodbye! βπ»π«°π»π€π₯°ππ»
