I'm telling you that a few weeks ago, when I was working, my mom called me and told me that the white cat had been poisoned and had died. I was very sad because she was my favorite cat. We have several cats in our house, but my white cat was very affectionate and attentive.

The next day when I left work and arrived home, there were four more dead cats in the parking lot where I live. We realized at that moment that someone unscrupulous had put poison in the food of the cats that were hanging around the sidewalk where we live. The heartless cat killers took advantage of the darkness and left poisoned food, causing the deaths of several cats on the block of our development.

Evil has no limits. It's very bad.

Our cat was unlucky enough to be among the victims. I checked with the neighbors, and they told me it wasn't the first time it had happened. Pet poisonings have happened before, and it's presumed to be the same person because it's always happened in the neighborhood's parking lots.

I still remember the photos I took of my white cat when she was alive. I still miss her. Those who love animals will know that it's a very sad feeling to have a beloved pet taken away from you.

We have other cats in the house, but they're not like the white cat; she was special. A pet that stood out from the rest because she was unique.

She liked to sleep in inappropriate places, and every time I was at the computer, she chose to sleep near the keyboard, right in my hands.

She was still a young cat, a teenager, and every night she slept next to my feet. When I went to bed, she was ready to sleep curled up at my feet; it was her nightly habit.

Les cuento que hace unas semanas cuando estaba trabajando mi mamá me llama y me dice que la gata blanca la habían envenenado y había fallecido. Me dió mucha tristeza porque era mi gata preferida. En la casa tenemos varios gatos, pero mi gata blanca era muy cariñosa y atenta.

Al otro día cuando salí del trabajo y llegué a la casa en el estacionamiento donde vivo habían otros cuatro gatos fallecidos. Nos dimos cuenta en ese momento que alguien inescrupuloso les había colocado veneno en una comida a los gatos que se la pasaban merodeando en la vereda por dónde vivimos. Los desalmados asesinos de gatos aprovecharon la oscuridad y dejaron comida envenenada para provocar la muerte de varios gatos en la manzana de nuestra urbanización.

La maldad no tiene límites. Es muy malo.

Nuestra gata corrió con la mala suerte de estar entre las víctimas. Estuve averiguando con los vecinos y me dijeron que no era la primera vez que pasaba. En otras oportunidades ha habido envenenamientos de mascotas y se presume es la misma persona porque siempre ha sido en los estacionamientos de la urbanización.

Me queda el recuerdo de las fotos que le tomé en vida a mi gata blanca, la sigo extrañando. Los que aman a los animales sabrán que es un sentimiento muy triste el que se siente cuando te arrebatan a una mascota tan querida.

En la casa tenemos otros gatitos, pero no son como la gata blanca, ella era especial. Una mascota que se diferenciaba del resto por ser única.

Le gustaba dormir en lugares no adecuados y cada vez que estaba en la computadora ella elegía dormir cerca del teclado justo en mis manos.

Aún era una gata joven, era adolescente y todas las noches dormía al lado de mis pies. Al acostarme ella estaba pendiente de dormir acurrucada en mis pies, era su costumbre todas las noches.

Este post es un homenaje a mi gata blanca.
