¡Hola amigos!! ¿Como han estado??? Como siempre espero que muy bien al igual que sus dulces mascotas, que tengan mucha salud, amor y alegría para seguir haciendo de nuestras vidas una más plena, saben, justo hoy vi un video donde hablaban de diferencias sobre perros y gatos, la verdad, ya he visto varios y con todos, tengo opiniones personales, en mi caso, suelo ser muy equilibrada, o justa, y amo a perros como a gatos por igual, pues crecí con muchos perros, o mejor dicho, a lo largo de mi vida tuve varios, hasta que me mude de ciudad y conviví con mi primer gato, en este caso gata, y waww que cambio tan grande..

La mejor forma que explico lo que sentí, es literalmente una nueva forma de amar, sí, así lo interprete y sostengo eso hasta hoy día, pues nunca había tenido que "ganarme " o “luchar” por obtener la confianza y el amor de una mascota, mis perros siempre me habían amado, desde la primera vez que los vi, de una confían en ti, son muy puros de alma, pero los gatos, en aquel entonces, mi amada Emilia, a pesar de que me recibió de manera muy positiva y hasta se acurrucó conmigo la primera noche juntas, no era para nada lo mismo!! No confiaba al 100% en mí, eso me dejo impresionada, realmente quería ganarme su cariño, así que tuve que esforzarme un mes por crear esa conexión!!.

Supe que ella me comenzó a amar, por qué siempre que se iba mi novio de casa, ella lloraba un poco y arrastraba un pañito a modo de huelga, según Chris, ella lo había hecho toda la vida cada que él se iba de casa, adivinen que sucedió??? SI AMIGOS DEJO DE HACERLO!! No saben la felicidad tan grande y lo orgullosa que me siento por ello jajaja de las mejores sensaciones que he tenido en la vida, cuando Emilia dejo de llorar y arrastrar trapitos por qué ahora se quedaba junto a mí en casa, se sentía amada y protegida, pff tengo los ojos llorosos ahora jajaja mi Emilia ya no está en este plano terrenal, pero siempre la recordaré con muchísimo amor, pues ella me enseñó otra forma de amar, más real, más cruda y que una vez logras esa conexión, no vuelves a entender que es amor de la misma manera que antes.

Solo quiero decir, que, ninguno es mejor que otro, tanto perros como gatos son mascotas muy lindas de tener, pero, definitivamente, amar y ser amado por gatos, es muy diferente, un amor diferente que cambia tu manera de ver la vida incluso. Aquí les comparto algunas fotos de esta tarde nublada junto a mis gatos y las flores de cayena que están preciosas por las lluvias!.

Hello friends!! How have you been??? As always, I hope you and your sweet pets are doing very well. May you have plenty of health, love, and joy to continue making our lives more fulfilling. You know, just today I saw a video talking about the differences between dogs and cats. I've actually seen several, and I have my own opinions about all of them. In my case, I tend to be very balanced, or fair, and I love dogs and cats equally. I grew up with many dogs, or rather, I've had several throughout my life, until I moved to a new city and lived with my first cat, a female in this case, and wow, what a huge change!

The best way I can explain what I felt is that it was literally a new way of loving. Yes, that's how I interpreted it, and I still believe that to this day. I had never had to "earn" or "fight" for a pet's trust and love. My dogs had always loved me from the first time I saw them; they trusted you instantly. They are so pure of heart. But cats, back then, my beloved Emilia... Even though she greeted me very positively and even cuddled with me the first night we spent together, it wasn't the same at all! She didn't trust me 100%, which shocked me. I really wanted to win her affection, so I had to work hard for a month to create that connection!

I knew she was starting to love me because whenever my boyfriend left the house, she would cry a little and drag a handkerchief around as if on strike. According to Chris, she had done that her whole life every time he left. Guess what happened? YES, FRIENDS, SHE STOPPED DOING IT! You can't imagine how incredibly happy and proud I am about it, hahaha. It's one of the best feelings I've ever had. When Emilia stopped crying and dragging around, it was because she was staying home with me. She felt loved and protected. Phew, my eyes are watering now, hahaha. My Emilia is no longer with us, but I will always remember her with so much love. She taught me another way of loving, more real, more raw, and once you achieve that connection, you never understand love the same way again.

I just want to say that neither is better than the other. Both dogs and cats are wonderful pets, but loving and being loved by cats is definitely very different, a different kind of love that even changes your perspective on life.
