¡Momento de apreciación a la vida pesquera en la Isla! 🎣 [ESP/ENG]

¡Hola amigos!! Espero que se encuentren muy bien, como siempre deseándoles salud y prosperidad, por mi parte me encuentro algo exhausta, pero bien gracias a Dios, verán me encuentro depurando mi laptop, pues está dando sus últimas batallas jajaja no la culpo, tiene 6 años aguantando de todo, ha sido muy buena y guerrera, volviendo al tema de este post, me tope con estas fotos que no había podido mostrarles, pues en mi última visita a mi pequeño paraíso margariteño "Care Care" pudimos disfrutar de una clase exclusiva de pesca jajaja, es decir, cuando faltaba justo como una hora para irnos, comenzaron a llegar muchos botes.

Estos colocaron redes y luego se alejaron un poco, donde aplicaron estrategias como ir con el bote de afuera hacia la red para reunir los más peces posibles deduzco yo, este trabajo duro un buen rato, luego un bote junto a cada red, uno de los chicos se sumergía imagino que para visualizar la cantidad de peces que habían podido reunir, y así estuvieron por otro buen rato, moviéndose, revisando, colocando y moviendo redes, bajo ese sol imponente, los pelicanos como siempre allí atentos, siguiendo incluso a los botes, hasta vi como un bote se dedicó a distraerlos un poco para que los otros fueran recogiendo redes.

Ver esto me recordó todas las veces que he hecho senderismo por esta zona y siempre veía botes y redes, también recordé la primera vez que fui a la restinga y medio de ella a lo lejos de todo, había un señor, en una tabla de surf, con un tobo y se medió veía que estaba pescando, así que le pedimos al lanchero que nos estaba dando el tour que se acercara, el señor muy amable nos mostró los peces que había agarrado y algunos camarones, nos explicó que diariamente sale de su hogar a las 5:00am, viene a la laguna y pasa todo el día, hasta caer la tarde, navegando encima de su tabla, buscando pescar para luego vender lo que agarro en el día en el mercado y así alimentar a su familia.

Desde entonces mi respeto y admiración por estos hombres es grande, pues pescar es un arte, algo que puede durar poco como mucho, pero que conlleva una gran responsabilidad, no solo para no alterar el ecosistema, para generar alimento para una familia también, he podido estar cerca de aficionados a la pesca, amistades cercanas, y realmente es una pasión que pocos saben brindar respeto, pues ellos, más que cualquier otra persona, tienen un pensamiento de cuidado del ambiente fenomenal, pues el mar les brinda alimento y ellos de regreso le devuelven cuidado, amor, respeto y apreciación.

Hello friends!! I hope you're all doing well. As always, I wish you health and prosperity. I'm feeling a bit exhausted, but thank God, I'm fine. You see, I'm cleaning up my laptop, as it's on its last legs, haha. I don't blame it; it's been through a lot for six years. It's been a real trooper. Getting back to the topic of this post, I came across these photos that I hadn't been able to share with you. On my last visit to my little Margarita Island paradise, "Care Care," we were treated to an exclusive fishing lesson, haha. I mean, just about an hour before we were due to leave, a bunch of boats started arriving.

They set up their nets and then moved a little further out, where they used strategies like going with the outside boat towards the net to gather as many fish as possible, I gather. This work took quite a while. Then, one boat was positioned next to each net, and one of the boys would dive down, I imagine to see how many fish they had managed to gather. And so they continued for quite some time, moving, checking, setting up, and moving nets, under that imposing sun. The pelicans, as always, were there, watching intently, even following the boats. I even saw one boat distract them a bit so the others could haul in their nets.

Seeing this reminded me of all the times I've hiked in this area and always saw boats and nets. I also remembered the first time I went to the sandbar, and in the middle of it, far away from everything, there was a man on a surfboard with a bucket. We could see he was fishing, so we asked the boatman who was giving us the tour to come closer. The very kind man showed us the fish he had caught and some shrimp. He explained that every day he leaves his house at 5:00 a.m., comes to the lagoon, and spends all day, until late afternoon, surfing, trying to catch fish to sell at the market and feed his family.

Since then, my respect and admiration for these men has grown immense. Fishing is an art, something that can last a short time or a long time, but it carries a great responsibility, not only to avoid disrupting the ecosystem but also to provide food for a family. I've been close to fishing enthusiasts, close friends, and it's truly a passion that few know how to treat with respect. They, more than anyone else, have a phenomenal awareness of environmental stewardship. The sea provides them with food, and in return, they give it care, love, respect, and appreciation.
