(ENG/ESP)😽✨ Ying is still the spoiled baby of the house / Ying sigue siendo el bebé consentido de la casa 😽✨
ENGLISH CONTENT
Hello to all members of this community and cat lovers! Since the arrival of a baby kitten, whom we named "Cleo", Ying, the adult cat, has wonderfully assumed his role as "adoptive cat father", not only showing Cleo the location of the nests for her to rest, playing with her, grooming her and of course, sleeping next to her to take care of her and keep her warm at night.

But, even though Ying's responsibilities have "increased," that doesn't mean he's stopped being a baby cat in our human eyes. No matter how old he is, Ying will always need cuddles and lots of affection (at least according to us humans, who are the ones who really need to give that affection to such an adorable and fluffy cat as Ying).

Compared to Cleo, Ying is much calmer, so he'll prefer to stay still no matter how much you try to stimulate him. Adult cats know very well when it's time to play or to lie down for a while without moving. As I mentioned, finding Ying has decided to sleep on my sewing projects is always a challenge, because if he's very comfortable, you end up feeling guilty after moving him... (Luckily, when I took that picture, Ying got up on his own and I didn't have to move him or bother him to let me access the fabric scraps 😇).

I always try to keep it on my bed when I see it. Ying usually sleeps with me and my sister (he likes to fall asleep at my feet, which leaves me sleeping in the fetal position most of the time 😆); but during the day, when I can see him resting on my bed, he usually likes to sleep in the other rooms. So it's lovely when I can see him on my bed taking one of his many naps. Sometimes, I feel like lying down next to him and joining him... but I know I wouldn't be able to fall asleep, and Ying would probably leave, annoyed that I've taken his nest.

It's so sweet to find him resting outside his usual spots, and now that he's taking care of Cleo, I imagine he needs to recharge his batteries before it's time to play with her again (he really loves chasing her and sometimes initiating games). So, when I see him sleeping somewhere little Cleo hasn't seen him, I stay quiet and let him rest. Sometimes adoptive cat parents need a little peace and quiet 😇
