Hello to all the members of this community and cat lovers! There's a characteristic cat pose that always sparks tenderness in anyone who sees it. During this pose, the felines sit with all their paws hidden, looking like a baked "bread" or a chicken. 🤣 I've seen many images of it online. But in my case, I like to say that when a cat sits like that, it's "brooding an imaginary egg," because it immediately reminds me of hens brooding in their nests.

I think it's a good way to describe him, since Ying often chooses the strangest places to perch, and when he's in that position, he looks like he's in his nest, guarding something. It's very difficult to say "No" to a cat, so as long as he's not sitting on something that might get ruined (because all that cuteness can be quite tiresome 😆), we have no problem with Ying perching wherever he wants, like in the clean clothes drawer or on my empty laptop case.

However, there are times when I feel more tenderness for Ying's pose, and that's when he does it in spaces that he knows have the scent of the humans who take care of him. When I saw Ying adopt that pose on the pillow that my older brother had left, I couldn't bear so much tenderness, since he had gone out for a while with my sister and perhaps Ying missed the company of both of them 😳 Very carefully I approached and took a picture. Ying doesn't like being photographed, so I try to do it quickly and without him noticing.

Also, lately Ying has decided that a good place to sit like that is on my belly 🙃 I mean, I don't want to complain, because I consider it a great honor that cats want to give us their attention... but being somewhat thin, all of Ying's weight on my belly wakes me up sometimes... I really try to hold on as much as possible when I wake up and notice that she is sleeping like that on top of me (This morning, I woke up and there she was, I was her nest 😅), but there are times when my body hurts and I need to move it 😞

I have some quilted fabric in my sewing supplies. I was thinking about making a little bed for Ying, to see if she'd like to use it as a more regular "nest." Although, since she has so much freedom when it comes to napping, she probably won't even look at it. Cats can be so spoiled, but that's how we love them 😸

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de los gatos! Hay una pose característica de los gatos que siempre despierta ternura en todo aquel que lo ve adoptándola, durante la cual, los felinos se sientan ocultando todas sus patitas, luciendo como un "pan" horneado o un pollo 🤣 He visto en internet muchas imágenes sobre ello. Pero en mi caso, me gusta decir que cuando un gato está sentado de esa forma está "empollando un huevo imaginario", pues inmediatamente, me recuerda a las gallinas cuando están empollando en sus nidos.

Pienso que es una buena forma de llamarlo, ya que en ocasiones, Ying suele escoger los lugares más extraños para posarse y al adoptar esa pose, parece que estuviera en su nido, custodiando algo. Es muy difícil decirle que "No" a un gato, así que, mientras que no esté sentado sobre algo que se pueda estropear (Porque tanta ternura puede ser bastante pesada 😆), nosotros no tenemos problemas con que Ying se pose donde desee, como en el cajón de la ropa limpia o sobre la caja vacía de mi laptod.

Sin embargo, hay momentos en los que me causa mayor ternura esa pose de parte de Ying y es cuando lo hace sobre espacios que sabe, tienen el aroma de los humanos que lo cuidan. Cuando vi que Ying adoptó esa pose sobre la almohada que había dejado mi hermano mayor, no pude con tanta ternura, ya que él había salido un rato con mi hermana y tal vez, Ying extrañaba la compañía de ambos 😳 Con mucho cuidado me acerqué y le tomé una fotografía. A Ying no le gusta ser fotografiado, así que trato de hacerlo rápido y sin que se dé cuenta.

Además, últimamente Ying ha decidido que un buen lugar para sentarse de esa forma, es mi barriga 🙃 Digo, no quisiera quejarme, pues considero que es un gran honor que los gatos quieran darnos su atención... pero al ser algo delgada, todo el peso de Ying sobre mi vientre, me despierta en ocasiones... de verdad trato de aguantar lo más posible cuando despierto y noto que está durmiendo de aquella forma encima de mí (Esta mañana, desperté y allí se encontraba, yo era su nido 😅), pero hay veces que me duele el cuerpo y necesito moverlo 😞

Tengo una tela acolchada entre mis materiales de costura. Estaba pensando en hacerle una camita a Ying, a ver si desea utilizarla como un "nido" más recurrente. Aunque, al tener tanta libertad a la hora de tomar las siestas, lo más probable es que ni siquiera lo mire. Los gatos pueden ser tan mimados, pero, así los queremos 😸
