Hello to all the members of this community and mural lovers! I told you that during my stay in the city of Barquisimeto (Venezuela), I was fortunate enough to come across some beautiful murals and, in the process, I was able to photograph them. They are all located in the city center and mostly on quiet streets, so I'm very glad I found them before they ceased to exist due to the effects of the weather or being covered over.

I found the first one while on the route that passes through 37th Street. It's amazing! It's a realistic portrait of a basketball player, and I'm fascinated by the details. I don't know if the artist commissioned it for the shoe store next door, but it's definitely worth seeing. I got out a few days later on that street just to photograph it, haha, especially because a few blocks further on, there was the following mural:

Another fascinating face (I think it's the rapper mc.ardilla). There were a few people around, so I quickly snapped the photo and left. It's not recommended to take photos outside like that, haha, but I had to seize the moment. I like how the tree branches contrast with the rest of the photo.

Another one I stumbled upon unexpectedly was inside the Barquisimeto Museum, in what appears to be a collaboration between several artists. The woman's face, and especially her gaze, is captivating. I also came across a beautiful piece by lecapsu in a cosmetics store. I love it when they hire local artists to make businesses look more original.

And finally, I also found some graffiti that I couldn't leave out. Most of the time, I'm drawn to complicated designs, but when they're colorful, even a little, I like them just as much, even if they're simple. I once mentioned that graffiti and small drawings are like stickers stuck to walls, so I always find it nice when an artist tries to harmonize a wall, no matter how dilapidated it may be 😌

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de los murales! Les comenté que durante mi estancia en la ciudad de Barquisimeto (Venezuela), tuve la dicha de encontrarme con hermosos murales y de paso, pude fotografiarlos. Todos se encuentran en el centro de la ciudad y en su mayoría, en calles poco transitadas, así que, me alegro mucho de haberlos hallado antes de que dejasen de existir por la acción del clima o por recubrimientos 😌

El primero lo hallé mientras me hallaba en el ruta que pasa por la calle 37 ¡Es genial! Se trata del retrato realista de un basquetbolista y me fascinan los detalles. No sé si el artista lo hizo por encargo de la tienda de zapatos que está a un costado, pero sin duda merece ser apreciado. Me bajé a los días en esa calle precisamente para fotografiarlo jaja y más, porque a unas cuadras más adelante, se hallaba el siguiente mural:

Otro rostro fascinante (creo que del rapero mc.ardilla). Habían algunas personas en la zona y apenas tomé la fotografía deprisa y me marché. No es recomendable andar tomando fotos en el exterior de esa forma jaja pero tenía que aprovechar el momento. Me gusta como las ramas del árbol hacen un contraste con el resto de la fotografía.

Otro que me hallé de imprevisto, fue dentro de las instalaciones del Museo de Barquisimeto, en lo que parece ser la colaboración de varios artistas. El rostro de la mujer y sobre todo, su mirada, es atrayente. Por otro lado, me encontré con un lindo trabajo de lecapsu en una tienda de cosméticos. Me encanta cuando contratan a los artistas locales para hacer lucir a los negocios mucho más originales.

Y para finalizar, también conseguí algunos grafitis que no pude dejar por alto. La mayoría del tiempo, me atraen los diseños complicados, pero cuando son coloridos, así sea un poco, me gustan de igual forma a pesar de que sean sencillos. Una vez comenté que los grafitis y dibujos pequeños son para mí como "stickers" pegados a los muros, así que, siempre me parecerá lindo que un artista trate de armonizar un muro, por más derruido que éste se encuentre 😌
