Hello to all members of this community and cat lovers! Another week has almost ended, and the collection of photos of Ying and Cleo, the cats I live with, is mostly limited to moments when they're both sleeping. That's not surprising for cats, who need many more hours of rest than we humans do, and although they can sleep all day, they can continue sleeping through the night as well.

🌞 Time for some sunshine 🌞

That makes me so envious. Even though I don't have to keep to a schedule, I get up at the same time every night because I can't sleep, and if I wake up in the middle of the night, it's hard to fall back asleep... Oh, how I wish I had that power cats have to fall into a deep sleep in a couple of seconds 😩

😴 Sleeping soundly despite the surrounding noise 😴

This time, I have more pictures of Cleo, the kitten, since Ying usually sleeps during the day, mostly with one of my brothers. So I was only able to take a few pictures of her when she slept on the hallway blanket. She regularly takes naps there in the mornings, as the sun's rays stream in through the bathroom window, so it's lovely to see her being bathed in the "sunshine" 🌞.

Cleo, on the other hand, has gotten used to falling asleep anywhere, and since I'm usually in the dining area all day—well, that's my workspace—she loves keeping me company... until she falls asleep. It's at that moment that I can appreciate her beautiful little face and the positions she usually adopts. I'm fascinated when she curls up into a ball or when she positions her paws in a way that's irresistible to me, and if I can't resist, I tug on them a little or squeeze them 😍 Although, I try my best not to interrupt her sleep.

🎨 This work is called: The Gestation of a Feline 🎨

Of all the photos I took, my favorites were the last ones, where Cleo is lying on my bed, more specifically on my sheet. I don't know why, but the scene made me think of a feline womb forming a kitten. It was so sweet, especially the way Cleo was curled up in her sleep, in the fetal position. Maybe she was dreaming she was inside her mother's tummy 💕

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de los gatos! Otra semana casi ha concluido y la recopilación de fotografías de Ying y Cleo, los gatos con quién convivo, se reduce en su mayoría a momentos en los que ambos están durmiendo. Eso no es de extrañarse en los gatos, quienes necesitan muchas más horas de descanso que nosotros los humanos y aunque puedan estar durmiendo todo el día, pueden seguir haciéndolo también durante la noche.

🌞 Hora de recibir un baño de sol 🌞

Eso me da tanta envidia. A pesar de que no tengo que cumplir con un horario, me levanto a la misma hora porque se me quita el sueño y si me despierto en la madrugada, me cuesta volverme a dormir... Oh, cómo quisiera tener ese poder que tienen los mininos de dormir profundamente en un par de segundos 😩

😴 Durmiendo sin importar el ruido que hay alrededor 😴

Esta vez, tengo más fotografías de Cleo, la gatita, ya que Ying suele dormir en el día más que nada en con uno de mis hermanos, así que sólo pude tomarle algunas fotografías cuando durmió sobre la colcha del pasillo. Allí, suele tomar regularmente siestas por las mañanas, pues los rayos del sol entran por la ventana del baño, así que es encantador verlo siendo cubierto por el "manto solar" 🌞.

😅 Sin poder doblar la sábana porque está en uso 😅

En cambio Cleo, se ha habituado a dormirse dónde sea y como suelo estar todo el día en la zona del comedor, pues, ese es mi espacio de trabajo, a ella le encanta hacerme compañía... hasta que se queda dormida, es en ese momento en los que puedo apreciar su hermosa carita y las poses que suele adoptar. Me fascina cuando se hace "bolita" o cuando coloca las patitas de una forma que es irresistible para mí y si no lo aguanto, se las jalo un poco o se las aprieto 😍 Aunque, procuro en la medida de no interrumpir su sueño.

🎨 Esta obra se llama: La gestación de un felino 🎨

Entre las fotografías que pude tomar, mis favoritas fueron las últimas, en donde, Cleo está acostada en mi cama, más específicamente sobre mi sábana y no sé porqué, la escena me hizo pensar en un útero felino formando un gato. Fue demasiado tierno y más en la pose que tenía Cleo durante su sueño, en posición fetal. A lo mejor, soñaba que estaba dentro de la pancita de su madre 💕
