Hello all lovers of insects! When you live in a rural area, it is natural to have encounters with flying insects. Although I have certainly lost fear, I am always on the slope, to avoid hurting them by accident, because sometimes, these insects are so small that they do not realice when they take themselves in your clothes or on your skin. I have met with spiders, small crickets, butterflies, ants and from which I will talk about today: the ladybugs.

These small insects have always seemed cute and tender. So, taking advantage of the fact that the ladybug fell on my brother’s fingers, I activated the macro function of my phone, a Xiaomi redmi 9 and tried to photograph it. It was not a simple job, due to its small size and also that it was not going to move. Apparently, his little wings had been wetted by the drizzle, so he opened and closed his wings, I imagine that in an act of looking to dry them. Seeing that so close, I was pretty adorable.

After that, the little ladybug took a small jump to a brush that was close, which, was being used to paint some areas of a structure that is inside the house. There, I could admire him a little more until the ladybug decided it was the right time to use his wings and flew. As I mentioned, it is not the first time that I find myself with these peculiar insects, but in all the previous meetings, the presingish ladybugs, walked on the surface so rapidly that the camera did not focus well, desisting at the end of photographing them And conforming me just with having seen them on that occasion.

I guess it was a kind of “luck” that at that moment, the wings of the ladybug had been wetted by the dew being able to allow us to admire her more closely. These little moments, are from my favorites when it comes to photographing insects, when you stop thinking about them as crawling creatures and you are aware of their movements, marveling inevitably with the life that you have before your eyes.

¡Hola a todos los amantes de los insectos! Cuando habitas en una zona rural, es natural tener encuentros con insectos voladores. Aunque ciertamente les he perdido el miedo, siempre estoy al pendiente, para evitar hacerles daño por accidente, pues en ocasiones, estos insectos son tan pequeños que ni te das cuenta cuando los mismos se posan en tu ropa o en tu piel. Me he encontrado con arañas, pequeños grillos, mariposas, hormigas y de la que le hablaré hoy: Las catarinas.

Estos pequeños insectos, siempre me han parecido lindos y tiernos. Así que, aprovechando que la catarina se posó en los dedos de mi hermano, activé la función macro de mi teléfono, un Xiaomi Redmi 9 y traté de fotografiarla. No fue un trabajo sencillo, debido a su pequeño tamaño y también a que la misma, no dejaba de moverse. Al parecer, sus pequeñas alas habían sido mojadas por la llovizna, así que abría y cerraba sus alas, me imagino que en un acto de buscar de secarlas. Ver eso tan de cerca, me resultó bastante adorable.

Luego de eso, la pequeña catarina dio un pequeño salto hasta un pincel que estaba cerca, el cual, estaba siendo usado para pintar unas zonas de una estructura que hay dentro de casa. Allí, pude admirarle un poco más hasta que la catarina decidió que era el momento idóneo para usar sus alas y salió volando. Como mencioné, no es la primera vez que me hallo con estos peculiares insectos, pero en todos los encuentros anteriores, las catarinas presurosas, caminaban sobre la superficie tan rápidamente que la cámara no las enfocaba bien, desistiendo al final de fotografiarlas y conformándome sólo con haberlas visto en esa ocasión.

Supongo que fue una especie de "suerte" que en ese momento, las alas de la catarina hubiesen sido mojadas por el rocío pudiendo permitirnos admirarla más de cerca. Estos pequeños momentos, son de mis favoritos a la hora de fotografiar insectos, cuando dejas de pensar en ellos como criaturas rastreras y eres consciente de sus movimientos, maravillándote inevitablemente con la vida que tienes ante tus ojos.
