Hello to all the members of this community and cat lovers! After spending almost a whole month with my cat Ikki, I had to say goodbye to him and return to the capital. It's not easy being separated from your pet, but at least he's being well cared for by his favorite human (my boyfriend), so at least he won't suffer from depression in my absence 😌 On the other hand, someone I missed a lot was waiting for me at the apartment: My dear feline nephew, Ying.

Ying, with a surprised expression: "Hey! Where have you been all this time? 🙀"

For those who have seen my past posts about Ying, you'll know that I tend to tease him a lot because I have a habit of picking him up and showering him with kisses... so he usually gets tired of me quickly 😅 Watching him perch among my things, my heart filled with tenderness. Was it a way for him to tell me he missed me, despite how annoying I can be with my endless cuddles? It was truly a very sweet sight, since I don't usually get greeted by anyone when I return from trips, so this small gesture from Ying made me feel welcome after a long 10 hours of traveling.

Ying: "Welcome back, human, I missed you. I'll spread my scent on these fragrant things to the outside world 😸"

The next day, Ying surprised me again with that adorable gesture of hers, perching on one of the things I place on the table, this time taking the handkerchief I usually use as a tablecloth during my meals as a "hostage." When I came back from the kitchen with my breakfast, I found Ying sitting on the tablecloth, but since it's so small, it's quite funny how Ying tries his best to accommodate himself on it. The strangest thing was that I took it from her and placed it aside, and Ying did the most sensible thing: She got up and sat back on the tablecloth. 🤣 Obviously, I ate next to her without disturbing my feline nephew.

Ying: "Oh, perfect! You brought a mat for my comfort 😸"

My cat Ikki doesn't play like he used to, and no matter how hard I've tried, he shows no interest in balls and only wants to walk around the field. 😓 Ying, on the other hand, is a cat who loves to play, whether with humans or alone, so I usually make him paper balls out of shopping receipts. These are his favorite balls because when he kicks them, they roll very fast, and he loves chasing them. Watching him play with these balls always makes me smile because, in his feline innocence, Ying appreciates the gifts I give him. 😇 I really missed his tenderness, and I know it will help keep my spirits up in the days to come ✨

Ying: "What's up, Auntie Human? Have you never seen a cat play before? 😼"

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de los gatos! Luego de pasar casi todo un mes junto a mi gato Ikki, tuve que decirle adiós para volver a la capital. No es fácil estar separada de tu mascota, pero al menos está siendo bien cuidado por su humano favorito (mi novio), así que por lo menos, no sufrirá de depresión en mi ausencia 😌 Por otro lado, en el apartamento me esperaba alguien a quién extrañaba bastante: Mi querido sobrino gatuno, Ying.

Ying, con expresión de sorpresa: "¡Hey! ¿Dónde habías estado todo éste tiempo? 🙀"

Para aquellos que han visto mis publicaciones pasadas sobre Ying, sabrán que suelo molestarlo mucho porque tengo el vicio de cargarlo y de llenarlo de besos... así que suele cansarse de mí rápidamente 😅 Al ver cómo se posaba entre mis cosas, mi corazón se llenó de ternura ¿Acaso era una forma de decirme que me extrañó, a pesar de lo pesada que puedo ser con mis mimos sin fin? Realmente fue una visión muy tierna, ya que no suelo ser recibida por nadie cuando vuelvo de viaje, así que ese pequeño gesto de Ying me hizo sentir bienvenida luego de 10 horas largas de viaje.

Ying: "Bienvenida humana, te eché de menos. Procederé a esparcir mi aroma en estas cosas olorosas al mundo exterior 😸"

Al día siguiente, Ying volvió a sorprenderme con ese adorable gesto suyo de posarse en alguna de las cosas que coloco sobre la mesa, ésta vez, tomando como "rehén", el pañuelo que suelo utilizar como mantel durante mis comidas. Cuando volví de la cocina con mi desayuno, me encontré con que Ying se hallaba sentado en el mantel, pero como éste es tan pequeño, es bastante gracioso como Ying hace lo posible por acomodarse sobre el mismo. Lo más insólito fue que, se lo quité y lo coloqué a un lado y Ying hizo lo más sensato: Se levantó y volvió a sentarse sobre el mantel 🤣 Obviamente, comí al lado sin perturbar a mi sobrino gatuno.

Ying: "¡Oh, perfecto! Has traído una alfombra para mi comodidad 😸"

Mi gato Ikki ya no juega como antes y por más que he intentado, no muestra interés en las pelotas y sólo quiere pasear por el campo 😓 En cambio Ying, es un gato que adora jugar, ya sea con los humanos o en soledad, por eso, suelo elaborarle pelotas de papel con facturas de compras. Esas son sus pelotas favoritas porque al patearlas, ruedan a gran velocidad y a él, le fascina perseguirlas. Verlo jugar con esas pelotas siempre me hace sonreír, porque en su inocencia felina, Ying aprecia los regalos que le hago 😇 Realmente extrañaba su ternura y sé que me ayudará a mantener mi ánimo en los días venideros ✨

Ying: "¿Qué pasa, tía humana? ¿Nunca habías visto a un gato jugar? 😼"
