Hello to all the members of this wonderful community! Yesterday afternoon I had the opportunity to meet some friends and have a different time. It was something really comforting, since a few days ago, I had suffered a kind of emotional downturn (again 😅), so I didn't hesitate to leave the house to deal with that instability by distracting myself and doing something I like: Wear cosplay.

The event I attended is an activity carried out by a group called Toracon, they are in charge of organizing tournaments, meetings and bazaars of a geek or otaku nature, in the city of Barquisimeto (Venezuela). On this occasion the activity was about Gamer Week. A coexistence for geeks and gamers, for which reason various video game tournaments and contests were going to be held for four consecutive days, from May 25 to 28, at the Metropolis shopping center, located to the West of the City. I am not what can be called a "gamer", I adore videogames, but in my available time, I almost never play ha ha even so, it caught my attention that on the first day of this event, the premise was " Coexistence Cosplay", summoning the cosplayers of the city to join. When I mentioned my friend @yetsimar, she was encouraged to attend, which motivated me along with another friend who hadn't seen me for years, who lives near the shopping center where the activity was going to take place. My friend Julie mentioned to me about cosplay cohabitation and asked me if she was going, because she would if I went (you know, one gets excited when they meet). Well, as a network we linked up and we jumped on the adventure of attending an event for gamers without being gamers as such ha ha

The activity would start around 3pm, so I calmly got ready early... or that was until I realized that I had lost my favorite makeup brush (well, the only one I have). That fact in question added to my melancholy because that brush was given to me by a very precious friend who passed away a few years ago. I searched everywhere and nothing. When I was about to have an anxiety attack about it, I decided that the best thing to do was to look for it later and continue with the initial plan. When the weather came out it was like my mood: Everything ugly ha ha It was cloudy and even raining. But despite this, I walked determinedly under the cold drizzle, knowing that soon I would be reunited with my friends. Once I arrived, I finished putting on the final accessories of my cosplay (which was of Fizzarolli, from the adult series Helluva Boss) and I met Yetsimar, who had arrived first, as always. , she is the most responsible ha ha she was dressed very cute and when I found out that she had some cat ears in her bag, I insisted that she put them on (I'm very stupid 🤣) giving her outfit the maximum touch of cuteness. After that we started to tour the area. There were several games that users could access for a small fee, as well as the exhibition of photography of various cosplayers by Walyshots. That made me think that, despite all my years of cosplaying, I've never had the opportunity to access a professional photo shoot and as I looked at the exhibition, I wondered if it would be possible to do so in the future.

After that, my friend Yetsi and I decided to take a walk around the mall to see how much it had changed since the last time she came. In that, we were pleasantly surprised that @kimi-gon, our friend and Hiver, was there. She was wearing a lovely Maid outfit, which looked beautiful on her with the hairstyle she did for herself. Kimi is quite flirtatious, as a lover of fashion and good dress, she always wears beautiful outfits wherever she wants to go.

I was surprised to see how changed the place was. There are several stores that are no longer there, as well as some that still exist and some new ones. We even found a rather interesting place where the owner accepts any cryptocurrency as a method of payment. When they did the cosplay catwalk, I was encouraged to participate. It's usually the activity I get into when cosplaying, because I never have time to do a proper performance, plus, since I suffer from stage fright, it's easier for me to just walk the runway.

Shortly after, my friend Julie appeared, who, as she was extremely happy to see me, did not hesitate to lift me off the ground to do a couple of laps. That surprised me, because it had been a long time since they charged me like that ha ha Julie and I were known for being the scandalous group at events, whenever we got together our emotion was great and we were not afraid to show it. We really enjoyed the events. After Julie became a mother and I started working harder, we parted ways for a long time. So it was really nice to see her again and introduce her to my friend Yetsi. Walking together with both of them felt great ha ha

I had the opportunity to take several pictures and to my surprise, several recognized the character I was representing. That makes me quite happy, since my cosplay is only 20% done, I still have to make the costume as such, but it feels good that even with what I have made, people recognize me. I consider it a small achievement. I'm glad I decided to have attended this Cosplay Convict and to be able to meet my friends. I think that this is what these kinds of events are about, to unite those of us who have common interests and make possible reunions where we will remember the time we shared and enjoyed together.

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de ésta maravillosa comunidad! El día de ayer en la tarde tuve la oportunidad de encontrarme con algunas amigas y pasar un momento diferente. Fue algo realmente reconfortante, ya que días atrás, había sufrido una especie de bajón emocional (de nuevo 😅), así que no dudé en salir de casa para hacerme cargo de esa inestabilidad distrayéndome y haciendo algo que me gusta: Usar cosplay.

El evento al cual asistí, se trata de una actividad realizada por un grupo llamado Toracon, ellos se encargan de organizar torneos, reuniones y bazares de índole friki u otaku, en la ciudad de Barquisimeto (Venezuela). En ésta oportunidad la actividad se trataba de la Semana Gamer. Una convivencia para los geeks y gamers, por lo que iban a realizarse torneos variados de videojuegos y concursos por cuatro días consecutivos, desde el 25 al 28 de Mayo, en el centro comercia Metropolis, ubicado al Oeste de la Ciudad. Yo no soy lo que se pueda llamar una "gamer", adoro los videojuegos, pero en mi disponibilidad de tiempo, no suelo jugar casi nunca ja ja aún así, me llamó la atención que el primer día de éste evento, la premisa fuera "Convivencia Cosplay", convocando a los cosplayers de la ciudad a sumarse. Cuando le mencioné a mi amiga @yetsimar, ella se animó a asistir, lo cual me motivó junto a otra amiga que tenía años sin ver, que vive cerca del centro comercial en dónde se iba a realizar la actividad. Mi amiga Julie me mencionó acerca de la convivencia cosplay y me preguntó si iba a ir, porque ella lo haría si yo iba (ya saben, uno se anima cuando van conocidos). Pues bueno, como una red nos enlazamos y nos tiramos a la aventura de asistir a un evento para gamers sin ser gamers como tal ja ja

La actividad daría inicio a eso de las 3pm, así que me arreglé con tranquilidad temprano... o eso fue hasta que me di cuenta de que había perdido mi brocha favorita de maquillaje (bueno, la única que tengo). Ese hecho en cuestión, se unió a mi melancolía porque esa brocha me la regaló una amiga muy preciada que falleció hace unos años atrás. Busqué por todos lados y nada. Cuando estaba a punto de tener un ataque de ansiedad por ello, decidí que lo mejor era buscarla luego y seguir con el plan inicial. Al salir el clima estaba como mi ánimo: Todo feo ja ja Estaba nublado y hasta lloviendo. Pero a pesar de ello, caminé con determinación bajo la llovizna fría, pues sabía que dentro de poco me reuniría con mis amigas. Una vez que llegué, terminé de colocarme los accesorios finales de mi cosplay (el cual era de Fizzarolli, de la serie para adultos Helluva Boss) y me encontré con Yetsimar, quién había llegado primera, como siempre, ella es la más responsable ja ja estaba vestida muy linda y cuando me enteré que traía en su bolso unas orejitas de gato, insistí para que se las pusiera (soy muy necia 🤣) dándole a su outfit el toque máximo de ternura. Luego de eso empezamos a dar un recorrido por la zona. Habían varios juegos a los que los usuarios podían acceder por un módico precio, así como la exhibición de fotografía de varios cosplayers a cargo de Walyshots. Eso me hizo pensar que, pesar de todos mis años usando cosplay, nunca he tenido la oportunidad de acceder a una sesión de fotografías hechas por un profesional y mientras contemplaba la exhibición, me preguntaba si sería posible lograrlo en un futuro.

Después de eso, mi amiga Yetsi y yo, decidimos dar una vuelta por el centro comercial para ver cuánto había cambiado desde la última vez que había venido. En eso, nos llevamos con la grata sorpresa de que @kimi-gon, nuestra amiga y Hiver, estaba allí. Ella lucía un encantador vestuario de Maid, que le quedaba hermoso con el peinado que se hizo. Kimi es bastante coqueta, como amante de la moda y el buen vestir, siempre suele llevar unos outfits hermosos a donde quiera que vaya.

Me sorprendió ver lo cambiado que estaba el lugar. Hay varias tiendas que ya no están, así como algunas que todavían existen y otras nuevas. Hasta nos encontramos con un local bastante interesante en donde el dueño, acepta cualquier criptomoneda como método de pago. Cuando hicieron la pasarela cosplay, me animé a participar. Por lo general es la actividad en la que suelo ingresar cuando hago cosplay, porque nunca me da tiempo para hacer una presentación como tal, además, como sufro de miedo escénico, me resulta más sencillo simplemente caminar en la pasarela.

Al poco tiempo, apareció mi amiga Julie, quien como estaba sumamente feliz de verme, no dudó en alzarme del suelo para dar un par de vueltas. Eso me sorprendió, porque hacía tiempo que no me cargaban de ese modo ja ja Julie y yo éramos conocidas por ser del grupo de escandalosas en los eventos, siempre que nos juntábamos nuestra emoción era grande y no temíamos en demostrarlo. Realmente disfrutábamos de los eventos. Luego de que Julie se volvió madre y yo empecé a trabajar más arduamente, nos separamos por un tiempo largo. Así que fue realmente hermoso volver a verla y presentársela a mi amiga Yetsi. Caminar junto a ambas se sintió genial ja ja

Tuve la oportunidad de tomarme varias fotografías y para mi sorpresa, varios reconocieron el personaje al cual le estaba haciendo representación. Eso me alegra bastante, dado que mi cosplay está hecho tan sólo en un 20%, aún me falta elaborar el traje como tal, pero se siente bien que aún con lo que llevo elaborado, las personas me reconozcan. Lo considero un pequeño logro. Me alegro de haber decidido haber asistido a ésta Convicencia Cosplay y poder encontrarme con mis amigas. Pienso que de eso, es de lo que trata esta clase de eventos, para unirnos a los que tenemos gustos en común y hacer posibles rencuentros en donde rememoraremos el tiempo que compartimos y disfrutamos juntos.
