Hello to all members of this community and cat lovers! Every day that passes, the relationship between Ying and Cleo proves to me more than ever that it's been a complete success. They not only play and sleep together, but they also groom each other and even watch over each other when one or the other goes to the litter box. Now that's trust! And little Cleo continues to amaze us with her vibrant energy and her ability to turn any object into a toy or space that can provide her with hours of fun, as she did with an egg carton and a plastic storage box.

😸 Cleo: I'm the queen of the box 👑

Since there were times when Ying was taking a nap or wasn't in the mood to play, we decided to tie a pom-pom to a plastic box that Cleo kept climbing into. The result was like we'd given her a punching bag, because she ended up swatting at the pom-pom with great enthusiasm. So much so, that it sparked Ying's curiosity about the box, which she had never been interested in before. It was sweet to see her climb into it and stay perched there. I imagine Cleo's scent makes her feel comforted.

Of course, all that playing in that structure by Cleo ended up attracting Ying and encouraging him to join in, leading to the delightful scene of both cats playing with the pom-poms that had been placed inside. The interesting thing about the box is that, because it has so many openings, Ying and Cleo have fun sticking their paws in and hitting each other as if they were fighting inside a cage. I don't know why cats like doing that so much, but it's lovely to see Ying playing with such enthusiasm. It's like he's a kitten again, even though he's over 7 years old.

As is normal after a long play session, both cats need to recharge with naps. When a cushion was placed inside the basket, we didn't expect Cleo to think it was a comfy nest, but she actually did. I'm amazed at how smart this kitty is. We'll continue to take care of her and keep an eye on her while she's in her rebellious phase where she wants to use everything as a toy, because we can't give her everything or she'll end up being a spoiled cat 👀 (Spoiler: We ended up spoiling her anyway 💝).

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de los gatos! Cada día que pasa, la convivencia entre Ying y Cleo me deja más que demostrado de que ha sido todo un éxito. No sólo juegan y duermen juntos, sino que se acicalan mutuamente y hasta se vigilan cuando uno o el otro, va al arenero ¡Eso si es confianza! Ahora, la pequeña Cleo no acaba de sorprendernos con su vibrante energía y su capacidad para volver cualquier objeto, un juguete o espacio que pueda brindarle ratos de diversión, como hizo con un cartón de huevos y una caja de plástico que se usaba para guardar cosas.

😸 Cleo: Soy la reina de la caja 👑

Como había ocasiones en que Ying estaba tomando una siesta o no estaba de ánimos para jugar, se nos ocurrió amarrar un pompón a una caja de plástico en la cual, Cleo estaba metiéndose. El resultado fue como si le hubiéramos entregado un saco de boxeo, porque acababa dándoles zarpazos al pompón con mucha emoción. Tanto así, que despertó la curiosidad de Ying hacia aquella caja, la cual, nunca le había interesado. Fue lindo verlo meterse en ella y quedarse posado allí. Me imagino que el olor de Cleo, le hace sentir reconfortado.

😺 Ying: Mmmm... está caja huele familiar 🤗

Por supuesto, tanto jugueteo por parte de Cleo en esa estructura, acabaron atrayendo a Ying e instándolo a participar, encontrándome con la encantadora escena de ambos gatos jugueteando con los pompones que se habían colocado dentro. Lo interesante de la caja, es que como tiene tantas aberturas, Ying y Cleo se divierten metiendo las patas y golpeándose como si estuvieran luchando dentro de una jaula. No sé porqué les gusta tanto a los gatos hacer eso, pero es lindo ver a Ying jugar con tanta emoción. Es como si fuese cachorro de nuevo, a pesar de que tiene más de 7 años.

😸 Ying y Cleo: ¡Hora de los juegos! 😺

Como es normal luego de una larga sesión de juegos, ambos gatos necesitan recuperar energía con siestas. Cuando se colocó dentro de la cesta un cojín, no esperamos con que Cleo pensaba en que se trataba de un nido cómodo, pero realmente lo hizo. Me sorprende lo inteligente que es esta gatita. Continuaremos cuidándola y vigilándola mientras está en su etapa de rebeldía donde todo lo quiere usar de juguete, porque no todo puede cedérsele o acabará siendo una gata mimada 👀 (Spoiler: La acabamos mimando de todas formas 💝).
