Hello to all the members of this community and cat lovers! This week, as always, I've been taking pictures of my feline nephew Ying every chance I get. However, while I was looking through my phone's gallery, I came across the pictures I took of Ying when I was making a beret for my birthday. I forgot to upload those pictures, so I'll take advantage of the opportunity to show them to you today, the perfect day to talk about feline mischief.

Every time I have to take fabric out of my "storage," Ying goes crazy. He's very interested in that area because the bag is under a table, next to my other materials, so he can't get in there to check... unless I'm taking things out to access my fabric bag. Usually, he'll sniff around under the table or play with his toys, which sometimes reach that area. But this time, he was tempted by a box I have and climbed onto it. So I let him supervise me from there.

Ying: 😸 Stay slave. I'll tell you which fabric is most suitable 😸

Once I found the fabric I was looking for, I cut the pieces and as soon as I placed them on the table, Ying rushed to sit down, as if to say, "Ah, a new mat!" I don't know why she does it, but she always does that when I place anything with a padded or soft surface on the table.

Ying: 😸 Very comfortable... I think it could work for me 😸

I let Ying lie on top of the pieces while I took care of cutting the remaining pieces and putting away the fabrics. But once I was ready to sew, I had to make the decisive decision to remove Ying from his mat 😭 as always, pushing him isn't enough, you have to pick him up and move him around. Later, I'll see you with a disapproving expression at the change 😖

Ying: 😸 I think I could get used to this new rug for my naps 😸

Right now, I'm experiencing a bit of "sewing block," so I haven't been able to get around to continuing with the garments I have planned. The good news is that when I get back to it, Ying will definitely inspire tenderness in me with her feline curiosity about textile materials 💕

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de los gatos! Esta semana, como siempre, tomé fotografías de mi sobrino gatuno Ying, cada vez que tuve la oportunidad. Sin embargo, mientras revisaba la galería de mi teléfono, me hallé con las fotografías que le tomé a Ying cuando me encontraba realizando una boina para mi cumpleaños. Olvidé subir esas fotografías, así que aprovecharé de mostrárselas hoy, en el día perfecto para hablar de las travesuras felinas.

Cada vez que tengo que sacar telas de mi "depósito", Ying se pone como loco. Le llama mucho la atención esa zona, porque la bolsa se encuentra debajo de una mesa, junto a otros de mis materiales, así que él no puede meterse allí a revisar... a menos que me ponga a sacar las cosas para acceder a mi bolsa de telas. Por lo general, él se pone a oler debajo de la mesa o a jugar con sus juguetes que a veces, llegan hasta esa zona. Pero en esa ocasión, se sintió tentado por una caja que tengo y se subió sobre ella. Así que lo dejé supervisarme desde allí.

Ying: 😸 Continua esclava. Yo te digo qué tela es más adecuada 😸

Una vez que encontré la tela que andaba buscando, corté las piezas y apenas coloqué las mismas sobre la mesa, Ying se apresuró en sentarse, como diciendo "¡Ah, un tapete nuevo!" No sé porqué lo hace, pero siempre hace eso cuando coloco cualquier cosa son superficie acolchada o suave, sobre la mesa.

Ying: 😸 Muy cómodo... creo que podría servirme 😸

Dejé que Ying estuviera acostado encima de las piezas mientras me encargaba de cortar lo que faltaba y guardar las telas. Pero una vez que estuve lista para coser, tuve que tomar la fuerte decisión de retirar a Ying de su tapete 😭 como siempre, empujarlo no basta, hay que cargarlo y moverlo de sitio para luego, te vea con una expresión de desaprobación por el cambio 😖

Ying: 😸 Creo que podría acostumbrarme a esta nueva alfombra para mis siestas 😸

En estos momentos, ando pasando por un "bloqueo de costura", así que no me he animado a continuar con las prendas que tengo planeadas. Lo bueno es que, cuando vuelva a hacerlo, Ying no dudará en provocar ternura en mí con su curiosidad felina hacia los materiales textiles 💕
