Hello everyone in this community! One of the best things about taking a few days off to go to the countryside is having the chance to spend time with Ikki, my little panther. Currently, he's being looked after by my boyfriend, since he's the one who can give him the care he needs. Not to mention, Ikki prefers my boyfriend's company to mine, even though I was the one who spoiled him the most when he was a cub 😩 Although, it's not all sunshine and roses when it comes to a little panther.

This is the only angle Ikki accepts 😩

Taking photos of Ikki from the front is no easy feat, as he seems to hate being photographed. Every time Ikki notices the camera is pointed at him, he turns his face away. As much as I tried to get pictures of his face the first day, I had no luck 🙃 I only got shots of his back, and the natural light inside the house didn't help to capture photos that did justice to his feline beauty.

Even so, I didn't give up. I wanted to take some pictures of Ikki with me. We came up with the idea of ​​distracting him so he would turn around, and then we could take the pictures. That way, while my boyfriend pointed the camera at him, Ikki would turn towards me, and I was able to get some decent shots of his cute face.

Ikki likes to sit on a flat rock that warms up in the sun. I suppose he finds it pleasant to lie down on it when he feels a bit cold. Perched there, he looks like a little panther in its natural habitat 😆

He's such an innocent and peaceful cat 🤗🤗

One of my chores when I'm visiting is trimming Ikki's nails. It's not an easy task, though. So far, I've only been able to trim his front paws, but I still need to trim his back paws. It's not easy because Ikki is quite fussy and doesn't like having his nails trimmed. When he realizes what's happening, he complains and runs away. He's a very strong cat! When he says no, he'll do everything he can to make it happen 😅

Another thing I'd like to do is give him a bath, because Ikki loves rolling around in the dirt in what I call "sunbathing," because I imagine that when he does that, he's celebrating being in contact with the warm earth. But he always ends up all dusty. As you can imagine, Ikki hates baths, and the most I can do for him is resort to a dry bath with a damp brush. I think he likes it, because he makes a very relaxed face when I brush him. That shows that, despite how tough he looks on the outside, he's still my little feline baby who loves to be pampered 🤗

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad! Una de las cosas geniales de tomarme unos días libres para el campo, es tener la oportunidad de poder pasar tiempo con Ikki, mi panterita. Actualmente, está al cuidado de mi novio, ya que es quién puede darle los cuidados que necesita, sin mencionar que Ikki prefiere la compañía de mi novio más que la mía, a pesar de que fui yo quién más lo malcrió cuando era un cachorro 😩 Aunque no todo es color de rosa cuando se trata de una panterita.

Este es el único ángulo que es aceptado por Ikki 😩

Tomarle fotografías de frente a Ikki, no es nada sencillo, ya que parece que odia ser fotografiado. Cada vez que Ikki nota que la cámara está apuntándole, gira el rostro en la dirección contraria. Por más que traté de conseguir fotos de su carita el primer día, no tuve éxito 🙃 sólo tuve tomas de su espalda y la luz natural dentro de la casa, no colaboró para que fuesen unas fotografías que hicieran justicia a su belleza felina.

Aún así, no me dí por vencida, quería llevarme unas fotografías de Ikki conmigo. Se nos ocurrió distraerlo por un lado para que voltease y allí, aprovechar de tomarle las fotos. De esa forma, mientras mi novio le apuntaba con la cámara, Ikki volteaba hacia dónde yo me encontraba y así, pude obtener unas tomas decentes de su linda carita.

A Ikki le gusta quedarse sentado en una piedra plana que se calienta con el sol. Supongo que le resulta agradable echarse sobre la misma cuando siente algo de frío. Posado allí, parace una panterita en su habitat natural 😆

Se ve tan inocente y apacible 🤗

Una de mis labores estando de visita, es cortarle las uñas a Ikki. Aunque, no es una labor sencilla. Hasta los momentos, sólo he podido cortarle las uñas de las patas delanteras, pero aún me hace falta cortarle las de las patas traseras. No es algo fácil, ya que Ikki es bastante quisquilloso y no le gusta que le corte las uñas, aí que, cuando se da cuenta de lo que sucede, se queja y sale corriendo ¡Es un gato con mucha fuerza! Cuando dice que no, hará lo posible porque así sea 😅

Seriedad ante todo 😠

Otra cosa que me gustaría hacer, es bañarlo, porque Ikki adora revolcarse en la tierra en lo que yo llamo "baños de sol", porque me imagino que cuando se pone a hacer eso, está celebrando que tiene contacto con la tierra cálida. Pero siempre acaba todo polvoso. Pero, como se imaginarán, Ikki odia los baños y lo máximo que puedo hacer por él es recurrir a un baño seco con un cepillito húmedo. Creo que le gusta eso, porque pone una carita muy relajada cuando lo cepillo. Eso demuestra de que, a pesar de lo rudo que se vea por fuera, sigue siendo mi pequeño bebé gatuno que adora ser consentido 🤗
