Hello all cat lovers! I haven't left the house much lately, so I'm able to notice certain patterns in my cat nephew Ying, who is a pampered, neutered cat, who loves my sister's company. So much is the dependence on her that when she goes out, even for a short time, the change in Ying's mood is clearly noticeable. The first gesture that indicates that he is beginning to miss her is when he stands right at the door that leads to the outside.

He also starts to cry and even scratches the door a little with his paw. My sister usually takes him out to the garden from time to time to get some sun and feel the earth on her paws. But when she is at home, Ying is not so interested in these walks. I'm already used to seeing him in her "vigilant" mode near the door. But out of context and at night, I admit that seeing him static like that could be quite terrifying.

However, Ying is a very calm kitten and is never really left alone at home. One of us always remains in the place and of course, can provide company to a kitten who feels lonely... but as expected, it seems that our presence is not enough for Ying, he wants his human mother or any other company, he finds it unsatisfactory. When he gets tired of waiting, he goes to sleep for a while and of course, when he hears the door, he wakes up and goes to greet my sister with his characteristic meow that resembles a scolding type of "human, you're late. Don't make me wait 😾"

¡Hola a todos los amantes de los gatos! Últimamente he salido poco de casa, así que tengo la posibilidad de notar ciertos patrones en mi sobrino gatuno Ying, quien es un gato castrado y consentido, que adora la compañía de mi hermana. Tanto es su dependencia, que cuando ella sale, así sea por poco tiempo, se nota claramente el cambio en estado de ánimo de Ying. El primer gesto que indica que ya comienza a extrañarla, es cuando se ubica justamente en la puerta que da al exterior.

También se pone a llorar e inclusive a raspar un poco la puerta con su patita. Mi hermana suele sacarlo de vez en cuando al jardín para que tome algo de sol y sienta la tierra en sus patitas. Pero cuando ella está en casa, a Ying no le interesan tanto estos paseos. Ya estoy acostumbrada a verlo en su modo "vigilante" cerca de la puerta. Pero fuera de contexto y de noche, admito que verlo estático de esa forma, podría resultar bastante aterrador.

Sin embargo, Ying es un gatito muy tranquilo y realmente nunca se queda solo en casa. Siempre alguno de nosotros permanece en el lugar y por supuesto, puede brindarle compañía a un gatito que se sienta solitario... pero como era de esperarse, pareciera que nuestra presencia no es suficiente para Ying, él quiere a su madre humana o cualquier otra compañía, le resulta poca satisfactoria. Cuando se cansa de esperar, se va a dormir un rato y por supuesto, cuando escucha la puerta, se despierta y va a recibir a mi hermana con su característico maullido que se asemeja a un regaño tipo "humana, llegas tarde. No me hagas esperar 😾"
