Hello to everyone in this community and fellow cat lovers! Today I had planned to go for a walk in the park, but I ended up staying home to sew and do my own thing, as usual. At the same time, I had to keep an eye on Cleo, the kitten, since she tends to try to play with things she shouldn't, like my sewing machine. I'm surprised she can fall asleep to the noise of the machine running at full power, but when she's intrigued by a snaking piece of fabric or a loose thread, I have to reject her role as "sewing supervisor." In that respect, I prefer Ying, who's a feline supervisor who just observes and lies down on any scrap of fabric he can find.

Another of her mischievous habits is wanting to play with the structure we set up when we do the laundry. Since we live in an apartment, we don't have a proper place to hang the clothes to dry, so we have to improvise in the entryway... Well, Cleo thinks that's her "recreation center" because she immediately tries to climb on top of it. She's already fallen a couple of times while doing her somersaults, like a real circus cat, but she keeps trying. She's a daredevil kitten, unlike Ying, who was a pretty calm little boy.

At least we can be thankful that she's no longer trying to chew on things like cables, although sometimes she bites my hair when I hold her, haha. She's a very playful kitten, and even though I realize how much she's grown, she's still tiny when I hold her in my arms. I take advantage of playing with her and holding her when she's awake, because when she's sleeping peacefully, I leave her alone and admire her face while she sleeps—a wonderful thing that we cat lovers truly appreciate.

Cleo and Ying's relationship is incredibly comforting. They don't play those rough games so often anymore, which is a relief, since I used to see Ying running away or fur flying everywhere, haha. Now, when they play, they're more careful with their strength and respect each other's moods. The same goes for grooming time, although Ying is the more intense one. Sometimes I've seen Cleo get stubborn when Ying tries to lick her insistently, and that does touch my heart. But then, I see them both grooming each other at the same time, and it's quite sweet.

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de los gatos! Hoy había pensado en salir al parque a pasear, pero acabé quedándome en casa a coser y a hacer mis cosas, como siempre. Al mismo tiempo, tenía que estar pendiente de Cleo, la gatita, ya que suele buscar de jugar con las cosas con las que no debería, como por ejemplo, mi máquina de coser. Me sorprende que se pueda quedar dormida con el ruido de la máquina a toda potencia, pero cuando le llama la atención la tela que se desliza o algún hilo suelo, tengo que rechazar su labor como "supervisora de costura"; en ese aspecto, prefiero a Ying, quién es un supervisor gatuno que sólo está pendiente de observar y de acostarse sobre algún trocito de tela disponible.

Otra de sus travesuras es querer jugar con la estructura que armamos cuando se lava la ropa. Al vivir en un apartamento, no contamos con un lugar adecuado para poder poner a secar la ropa, por lo que toca improvisar en el recibidor... Pues, Cleo piensa que eso se trata de su "centro de recreación" porque inmediatamente buscar de subirse encima del mismo. Ya se ha caído un par de veces mientras hace sus maromas, como si fuera toda una gata de circo, pero no deja de intentarlo. Es una gatita temeraria, a diferencia de Ying, que fue un cachorro bastante tranquilo.

Al menos, hay que agradecer que ya no esté buscando de morder cosas como cables, aunque, cuando la cargo, en ocasiones me muerde el cabello jaja es una gatita muy juguetona y a pesar de que me dé cuenta de lo mucho que ha crecido, sigue siendo pequeña cuando la tengo entre mis brazos. Aprovecho de jugar con ella y de cargarla cuando está despierta, porque cuando duerme plácidamente, la dejo tranquila y admirar su carita mientras duerme, es una maravilla que apreciamos mucho los amantes de los gatos.

La convivencia de Cleo con Ying, es de lo más reconfortante. Ya no tienen esos juegos rudos tan seguidos y eso me calma, ya que en ocasiones podía ver a Ying huyéndole o los pelos volando por todos lados jaja Ahora, cuando juegan, son más medidos con sus fuerzas y respetan cuando el otro, no está de ánimo. Lo mismo ocurre con la hora del acicalamiento, aunque Ying es el más intenso en éste aspecto; en ocasiones, he visto como Cleo se obstina cuando Ying se acerca a lamerla insistentemente y eso, si me da sentimiento. Pero luego, los veo a ambos acicalarse al mismo tiempo y es bastante tierno.
