Hello to all members of this community and cat lovers! I'm happy to report that the relationship between Ying, the adult cat, and Cleo, a kitten of just a few months old, has been completely successful. After a few days of wariness between them, we can finally relax when they're together... Although I confess I'm always keeping an eye on things, since the size difference between them is quite noticeable and cats can be very rough when they play, so it's inevitable that I worry 😆

😽 Officially, the scratching post now belongs to her 😽

What I love about Cleo is that even when Ying isn't available to play, whether because he doesn't want to or is sleeping, Cleo manages to entertain herself. She's taken over all of Ying's toys and even got some new ones, like an egg carton, which she loves to chew on, haha. Another funny thing she loves is the scratching post my sister made for Ying, which he never liked. Cleo, on the other hand, goes crazy digging her claws into it, biting it, and rubbing herself against it. It's quite cute to watch.

At first, I didn't let Cleo get on the table when I was doing things. But when Ying sees me doing something "interesting" to him, he always jumps up on the table to snoop, and Cleo, trying to imitate him, follows... As long as she stays quiet, I can let her be there. The first time, she was curious about my things and wanted to kick them, but she quickly learned not to. I'm really surprised at how well-behaved she is!

But without a doubt, the most beautiful moments are when you realize Ying and Cleo share a space. I didn't think Ying would let Cleo be on the windowsill where she usually takes her naps, soaks up some sunshine, or simply gossips about what's happening below the building. But they went from taking turns on the windowsill to being able to lie down together and even sleep peacefully. Now, Ying not only has a playmate, but also a gossip buddy 🤣

The same thing has happened with the other "nests," as I call the places where the cats usually choose to nap. Cleo likes fluffy spots, and it makes me laugh to compare how perfectly she fits on the cushions where Ying can barely squeeze in, haha. I'm glad that little Cleo already feels at home in the apartment and that Ying is no longer a lonely cat and really seems happy with his feline friend ✨

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de los gatos! Es de mi agrado informarles que la convivencia entre Ying, el gato adulto y Cleo, de pocos meses, ha sido completamente satisfactoria. Luego de unos días de recelo entre ambos, por fin podemos estar tranquilos cuando ellos se juntan... Aunque confieso que siempre estoy al pendiente, pues la diferencia de tamaños entre los dos es bastante notoria y los gatos son muy toscos a la hora de jugar, así que es inevitable no preocuparme 😆

😽 Oficialmente, el rascador ahora le pertenece 😽

Lo que me gusta de Cleo, es que, aunque Ying no esté disponible para jugar, ya sea porque no lo desea o esté durmiendo, Cleo se las arregla para divertirse sola. Se ha apoderado de todos los juguetes de Ying y hasta ha conseguido unos nuevos, como un cartón dónde vienen los huevos, que ama mordisquear jaja Otra cosa curiosa que le encanta, es el rascador que mi hermana le hizo a Ying y que a él, jamás le gustó. En cambio, Cleo se pone como loca a clavar sus garras, morderlo y frotarse contra el rascador, es bastante lindo de ver.

😺 Un gato siempre estará dispuesto a ver qué estás haciendo 😺

Al principio, no dejaba que Cleo se subiera a la mesa cuando hacía mis actividades. Pero cuando Ying me ve haciendo algo "interesante" para él, siempre se sube a la mesa a curiosear y Cleo, buscando de imitarlo, lo sigue... Siempre que se quede tranquila, puedo dejarla estar allí. La primera vez, sí se mostraba curiosa de mis cosas y deseaba patearlas, pero aprendió rápido que no debía hacerlo ¡Realmente me sorprende lo bien portada que es!

Pero, sin duda, los momentos más hermosos es cuando te das cuenta cuando Ying y Cleo, comparten un espacio. No pensé que Ying permitiría a Cleo estar en la ventana donde suele echar sus siestas, recibir algunos rayos de sol o simplemente, chismear lo que ocurre abajo del edificio. Pero, pasaron de turnarse para estar en la ventana a poder permanecer juntos en echados y hasta durmiendo plácidamente. Ahora, Ying no sólo tiene una compañera de juegos, sino también una de chismes 🤣

😹 Parece que interrumpimos una reunión muy íntima 😹

Los mismo, ha pasado con los demás "nidos", como es que le llamo a los lugares en donde los gatos suelen seleccionar para dormir la siesta. A Cleo le gustan los lugares esponjosos y me causa gracia comparar como cabe perfectamente en los cojines en donde Ying, apenas y puede acomodarse jaja Me alegro que la pequeña Cleo ya sienta del apartamento su hogar y que Ying, ya no sea un gato solitario y realmente se le vea agradado con su amiga felina ✨
